Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Bed The bed was comfortable but the carpet in my room needed to be cleaned! I walked around in shower shoes the entire time I was in the room! You could see the dirt in the carpet! The breakfast needs a upgrade! My family and I went up the road to Waffle House for every breakfast! April 9, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Many Problems Where to begin.... -When entering the front doors, the mat at the entry was dirty, curled and not cumpletely in place. -No elevator...not that it was not working there was NO elevator and our room was on the second floor -First floor room area smelled very smokey...not inviting to get to a room -First room that we were given did not have a room heater that worked...only pumped out cold air. Brrrr -Our second room was better although there was hair on the shower walls and counter top -The pancake machine was broken...disappointing -Decor was old. Paint was chipping from walls and wallpaper was curling from walls. -Enough? March 14, 2013

The only area that my wife and I was disappointed about was the breakfast. It needs a lot of improvement. Also, the microwave in our room did NOT work at all! March 12, 2013

I stay at this hotel at least once a month and the rooms are always very clean, staff welcome you when you enter and are always friendly. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure is great! Plenty to watch on tv, too. Excellent rates!!! January 10, 2013

They would always speak to you when walking be them in the hallways or by the front desk. Always a 'Good Morning' or 'Have a great Day!'... Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area! My husband uses a walker and the employees were always running to help with the door or asking if I needed help with getting our things in and out of the car. The room was clean, comforable and quiet. This is the second time we have stayed here and we would definitely come back. November 27, 2012

I have been an occasional frequenter of HI Express properties around the US and Europe but this property and a recent unpleasant encounter with customer service has made sure that I will not use this chain again. period.
