The hotel was not very clean, I was not greeted a a premium elite member. There is no elevator so you have to lug your bags up the stairs. The staff was more interested in chatting with friends or the police eating the free breakfast than helping me.
As an IHG rewards member, I was disappointing with the property.

This was my first trip out here for business. When we arrived, the lady at the front desk was not very personable to start out with, but since there were three of us checking in, she began to get sweeter after that. The hotel itself wasn't in the best shape outside of the lobby area. The floors on the second level had a nice wave feel to them as you walked down the hall. The room was very musty smelling and humid when I walked in, I cranked the A/C down to combat it and it helped some, although the smell stuck around. The bed was comfortable and about what I expected. The bathroom had broken tiles as you walked into it, and the broken pieces were there and sharp, so I had to watch my step coming in the middle of the night. All in all, the place isn't bad, it was kind of average and the value was good for the area. Given the opportunity I would stay again, as I felt safe and secure and got a good nights sleep. Just needed a few updates to assist with comfort in the room.

This property is showing its age. Needs an upgrade and the train that passes by at night will wake up even the soundest sleepers. Beds/pillows not all that comfortable.

A thank you to the staff for being able to put me in a room next too my family we were here for the All Star Games. The furniture in these rooms really need to be upgraded especially the love seats. I was enjoying my room until the Air Conditional would not work and it was really Hot, when I called and first reported the issue the staff said ok will take care of it,about 30minutes of waiting I went to the front desk in person,staff did admit they forgot and said Only thing they could do was to move me into another room. The time was late, really late so I agreed and moved but could not rest or felt comfortable all night. I wish my ending here was as enjoyable as my beginning.

Hotel staff is your biggest asset, they are very friendly and helpful. Room was clean but its time to remodel. Beds are very comfortable, love the pillows.
You need to remove the words high speed internet from all your advertising. I stayed there for a week and could only connect 2 different nights but it wasn't worth it because it was super slow.
I've noticed this same complaint in a number of your reviews and each time you assure them that you will look into it. If you want to draw the Business traveler market you have got to rectify this. My original reservation was for 21 days but after a week of no or poor internet I had to leave. Going to Starkville HI Express its worth the extra $30 more per night.

I and my family was very please with the location, price and service. We will also use the hotel when are in the city again.
