Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Inconsistant over two stay First stay comfortable and convenient. However, there were three empty coffee pots at 7:30 in the morning. The attendant was talking to the person at the check-in desk.. Second stay was two weeks later, not as inviting.. There were used coffee packages in the room, no coffee or cups, and no Kleenex or toilet paper in room. Went to check-in desk to obtain the items. Had to turn off heater/air conditioner because of the squeaking. At breakfast, 7:30am there were no eggs or muffins. Told they would be ready in about half an hour. They did offer an extra 1000 reward points. Have not seen yet.. If traveling in the are again I would probable go the extra miles to the next Holiday inn.. November 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Will Skip This Place We were very disappointed in this hotel, We chose this as our half way point while returning home from a week in the OBX. I had reserved 2 rooms. I had asked about places to eat nearby and was told a list would be waiting for me. Upon arrival, 1 of the rooms, the ac was not working and the only help we got from the front desk was give it time, my preferences have always been non smoking, more so this time as we were traveling with our 3 grandsons, the room reeked of smoke, the door to my room had to be pulled hard or the door would not close properly. When I asked about the list of places to eat, I was pointed to the direction around the desk to a wall...clearly the person at the front did not want to be there and was not at all friendly. We take a yearly visit to the OBX every year and this will not be on our list of stops again. November 17, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Only thing I'd change is the hard to use toiletries.- bring your own Really appreciated the bedside lights between beds with 2 standard outlets in the base. Makes it easier to plug in and use a CPAP night time breathing machine for sleep apnea and a computer or other electronic device. A next step up would be to have a USB charge port in an easily accessible outlet. My only complaint was with the totally useless toiletries bottles. Could barely get anything out of them, and then only with great effort. But this brand I also found at my next stop at a Holiday Inn Express.
