Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Broken AC and dirty bloody towels I woke up several times throughout the night covered in sweat. I turned the AC on, attempted to turn the thermostat down a few times through the night but the room never cooled. I tried to open the window as it was much cooler outside, yet it would only open a few inches. After a very poor night of sleep, I am feeling very sweaty and dizzy. As I was scheduled to check out in the morning, I was just going to get a cold shower and leave. I went into the bathroom to prepare my things for the shower, and when I grabbed a towel to use and unfolded it, I noticed there was a fair amount of blood on the towel. There were signs in the bathroom and next to the bed about "conserving water" and re-using towels and sheets. It's pretty clear to me this was a dirty towel that was simply refolded and left in my room. I found this to be DISGUSTING. I told the woman at the front desk all of this information, and she apologized but it was clear she did not really care. As I was talking to her I had sweat dripping from my face, and even had to sit in the lobby for a bit because I was so dizzy from being in the heat. We had to ask for some kind of accommodation, and I was given a measly $20. After paying $140 for a night at your hotel and having to deal with a broken air conditioner and a bloody used towel, I expected more of Holiday Inn than this. After I checked out I had to fix my hair and do my makeup in the parking lot in my car in the cool air. I am extremely disappointed. October 7, 2015
