Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HIX Wheatridge The front desk, manager, dining room personnel are fantastic. We saw the manager in action but did not know exactly who she was or exactly what she did. She really cares about her job and it is important to her to make everyone happy. We arrived there on a cool evening. My husband has low blood pressure so he needed heat. The heater circuit breaker kept popping. All night. Other problems - no kleenex, bathtub would not drain, allergic reaction to animal dander in the room (even though there is "zero tollerance for animals.") There were other minor annoyances. We notified the manager about the circuit breaker problem since it could be serious. Then when she asked we told her about the bathtub. She immediately refunded 1/2 of our bill, delivered it herself and appoligized. We may try them again when the remodel is completed. Until then we will pass them by. May 17, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very bad experience We encountered a very uncomfortable stay. Linda and staff continuely said they were sorry. But with commotions out your window till all hours of the night people running through the parking lot smoking drugs cops there many times made for a long short night. Scared with no sleep. Then little ants everywhere and told the maid to please spray and once again when we got back late the second night ants you couldn't take a bath for ants all over bathroom had my bags sitting on floor so ants in my luggage that was my breaking point. Have stayed here many times before but no more ! May 11, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No Surprises!! We checked in and actually were handed our 'priority club member' gift packet of snacks and water.......we didn't ahve to ask for it. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating to our needs. This was one of the few Holiday Inn Expresses that met all our needs and really offered no negative surprises. It was clean and comfortable. We really were rested the next morning and ready to resume our trip. May 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Stay We stayed 5 nights and had a great stay. We were in a minor car accident just before arriving and the staff showed genuine concern upon our arrival. Our room and all parts of the hotel were always very clean, the clothes washer/dryer on our floor (I think on each floor) was an awesome bonus, the breakfast was always hot and tasty. The location is perfect to the interstates. The staff is friendly and very helpful with directions and any information you may need. The only downside was the hot tub and pool were out of order. We would highly recommend this hotel and if we are in Wheat Ridge, CO and again would stay there without hesitation. May 9, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Front desk confusion The property is great, no problems. When checking in there were two younger employees. They were not organized and not properly trained. We had three rooms that night for three families under one reservation. Each family was using a different credit card. Seems simple, it was not. Sunday, next morning a nice lady straightened out the mistakes. Monday, we contacted the General Manager to insure everything was correct. He seemed distracted and assured us everything was correct. He was not as pleasant as you might expect from someone in the service business. March 31, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Helpful Staff staff were very good to work with given the time of the day and the needs of my large family. Most of the rooms we usually get were booked but staff took the time to help us meet our needs. Room was large and had the space we needed. Wished other HIX's had this type of room available (king suite with separate room) as it provides the best of both needs for a larger family. Thanks for a good breakfast and a great stay.
