This holiday inn was very hard to find even with a GPS system but it had a wonderful restaurant right nearby which was exceptional - The Powerhouse. it was very comfortable and staff was very friendly.

Very nice Holiday Inn Express. As a platinum member I stay at Holiday Inns all over the country. Would have liked to see fruit at breakfast. This one is a keeper...

We love Holiday Inn and stay there on all of our trips. We had accumulated enough points and decided to surprise our daughter with a 'staycation'. We knew we wanted to go to PA and started looking at hotels near our destination and found this one.
Hotel is very nice... has all the appeal you expect from Holiday Inn...
HOWEVER...
... the pool and hot tub don't look as nice as the pics... and were super cold. The hot tub was warm at best.
... our shower - was actually too hot... even on the coldest setting it was still scalding hot... hmmm - they need that water in the pool / hot tub area !!!
The noise... it's next to the freeway - however that wasn't too bad - but people were hooping and hollering outside at like 2am and keeping us up.
Breakfast... they didn't have any of their signature cinnamon rolls. Really - this is your signature item and none... and just plain creamer for coffee.
When we went to check out, of course the lady asked how our stay was... and of course we told her. Instead of an I'm so sorry or something you'd expect to hear, we received a, 'Well - it was a FREE stay'. haha - seriously !?!?!?!
Disappointed is the best I can say. We won't be back to this one ever... we will continue to be Holiday Inn fans though and search out other nice ones to enjoy.
Good thing is - our daughter was happy with our weekend getaway - which is really all that counts.

We have been staying at the White Haven-Lake Harmony Holiday Inn Express every weekend during ski season for three years and couldn't be more satisfied. Staff is very freindly and treats you like family. The rooms and common areas are all clean and well maintained. The pool and hot tub are delightful after after a day of skiing. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and the quiet makes for good sleeping. It's right off the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike, 5 miles from Jack Frost Mountain and about 10 miles from Big Boulder. It couldn,t be more convenient. We also stay during the summer for special events in the area. This is a great place to stay.

We booked 5 rooms the week after Christmas for a family get together. There were 8 children in the group. We arrived from different locations and the rooms were not ready at 3 pm. That was not the biggest problem. It was the staff/management and they way it was handled. They were forced to stay in the lobby with the children until slightly after 6 pm. The weather was bad and when they went to take them to the pool, it was broken. The heater was out of service and the water ice cold. So that was not an option. When the desk was approached about the long wait, my daughter was told that they would give her money back and she could find another hotel. Where was she going to go with her 2 under the age of 4 and the rest of the family at that point. No offers to make amends and when asked if we could have a later check out to compensate we were told absolutely not.
Now let me go over the food for breakfast. The room was packed at all times with not enough tables and chairs, the toaster was broken, the coffee and food were low and limited.
I am terribly disappointed and I had just come from another hotel .in North Carolina that was booked to capacity. The rooms were ready on time, the food excellent with waffles and many more choices and the staff wonderful.
I have stayed in holiday inns on and off for years and have never had such a terrible experience.
One last thing, the door jam to my king suite was separated and my grandchildren were able to come in my room by simply putting a credit card in between the space. The desk did not seem to think this was a problem and were rude to my daughter when she pointed it out.
I own 2 businesses and this was not an example of good business at all.

I thought this was one of the best hotels my family stayed at. It was very comfortable. Clean you could eat off the carpet. I reccomend this hotel to family and friends.
