Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by S2000ap1 Comfortable room - noise from pool and highway annoying
The room was adequate, clean and comfortable. It lacked a fridge which has become more of a standard than a luxury these days. One annoying problem was noise, they put me in a room over the pool and along the side where a major highway ran. Kids were in the pool unsupervised well past the pool hours and the noise was very disturbing. I was staying 3 nights so I thought I might get a room away from the noise but that wasn't the case. Also no ice machine on 2nd floor, just on 1st and 3rd floors and of course I was on the second floor.
Overall the accommodations were adequate for the location.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Suzanne31 Clean and modern
The room was very clean. The bedding looked newer. There was a choice of a soft or firm pillow. The bed was comfortable.
The bathroom was very clean and modern.
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
On a down side the second floor hallway smelled of body odor. However, the room was fine. I noticed new rugs in second floor hall and wonder if that caused the order?
The wi-fi connection was poor.

You have to set your GPS to Point of Interest and keyed in McDonald White Haven to reach this outlet. This Holiday Inn is very close to Lehigh Gorge State Park.
We had a 2 Queen Bed studio suite. It was a bit cramped compared to the Holiday Inn on GAR Highway in Rhode Island but was still adequate. The suite was quiet saved for the air-conditioning unit. We still slept sweetly through the night.
The 3D pancake printer in the breakfast area was the smartest one we came across in the chain. They also offered crispy bacon.
The condition of the mini-fridge made me wonder if my cooler worked better, even after a day of activity in warm weather. The small freezer compartment in the mini-fridge was leaking water. We had to consume the BBQ meat the next day.
For the price though, HI-White Haven Lake Harmony was overall a smart choice.

While this hotel is certainly in a good location given the remoteness of the area along 476, I was first concerned when there was a line at Check-In at 11:30 pm due to open Vacancy on a Friday night, which is usually unheard of in a IHG hotel property.
As an IHG Priority club member, a gold member at that, I am used to be greeted at every IHG brand hotel I stay at as a member and am thanked by either bonus points or a complimentary snack bag, which I look forward to after long drives. However, out of all my stays at IHG hotels, this was the first time I was not greeted or thanked for being a loyal member and was not offered any bonus points or snack bag.
As for the room, right away I should have been alarmed that there were complimentary ear plugs provided in the room. Should I have actually used them, they would have provided useful given the noise from doors slamming in the hall way to the people above us. This noise was the worst I have ever experienced at any hotel, especially an IHG brand.
Overall the bathroom was spacious and modern as was the room, but some standard hotel amenities were not available, such as a Fridge and Security Safe.
Additionally, granted I was given a King size bed, but I was only given 4 total pillows, all of which were not comfortable and neither was the bed. Usually I have the option of 6 pillows, all of which has different softness or firmness. This was by the far the worst overall sleep I have got from a IHG brand hotel, especially for one that is modern.
As for the breakfast, it is like all other Holiday Inn express breakfasts with fake microwavable eggs, sausage, pancakes, bagels, toast, cinnamon buns, coffee, and juice.
While a convenient location, I probably would not stay here again nor do I really recommend it unless you are in a bind and need somewhere to stay, then this hotel should suffice.
