The staff made me feel at home when I first arrived and I felt that way with every staff member I met. The room was spot-on and the breakfast staff lady was cordial, very pleasant, and wonderful. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Restless nights Good location near eateries and services; professional staff that were friendly and welcoming; BUT between the pillows and the mattress not much sleep. Could not tell the difference between the "firm" and the "soft" pillows. The mattress has exceeded its life span and between my turning over all night looking for some comfort and the sorry pillows did not rest well for any of the three nights. IF these two items are corrected this would be a 4.5 star hotel. Sorry to be so tough but it is an opinion shared by both myself and my spouse. September 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Over all a very good experience. Rooms was very comfortable and clean. Bed and pillows promoted a very good night's sleep. Very quiet. As two women traveling together, we felt very safe an secure. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Only one small issue could be resolved. I don't think any one exits the shower on the end with the faucets, That is a little dangerous. However that is the only end that has a handrail. it just doesn't make much sense. However, 9-times out of 10, I have found this to be the case in most motels, not just Holiday Inns. I have a mild neurological disorder and find that I am sometimes a little off balance, so I do find the handrail useful sometimes, if it is in the right place. Bathroom had what appeared to be mold on the ceiling, the wallpaper was coming off the wall, and the towel rack was barely connected to the wall. Addressed issues with front desk and they did not seem to care or offer any recourse. September 8, 2014

If you are driving a truck (like a U-Haul) or pulling a trailer or boat, then do NOT pull into the entrance area because there is no way to turn around, and you cannot drive around the back; you have to back out, and there is not very much room. Some negatives for wheelchair bound travelers. Wheelchair room is on the 2nd floor when it should have been on the 1st floor. Wheel-in shower very poorly designed; there is a slope down from the shower into the main part of the bathroom (should have been the other way around), and there is no drain in the main part of the bathroom! Shower fixture and water handles are on the opposite side of the bench where the handicapped person cannot reach them (should be in the middle of the side wall). The bed is too high to transfer from the wheelchair; really bad if a wheelchair bound person is traveling alone. Note - the curtains do not close. August 12, 2014

I stayed in the HIE in Whitehouse as it is a short distance outside of Nashville, and reasonably priced for the location. I wish to say the manager, Katelyn was wonderful. She is extremely helpful and always cheerful. I was looking for an apartment so I had brought my elderly mother along. Katelyn made sure we had a room on the first floor, and the beds were comfortable. She also provided input as to what areas to search for an apartment. I greatly enjoyed our stay. I will most likely be staying here again in October. August 7, 2014

I missed the bg sign and drove thrugh town, turned around and saw another hotel sign and decieded to stay there instead, then there was your sign. Glad we saw it. July 29, 2014

However, when the air conditioner came on, it sounded like when you would put a playing card in your bike spokes as a kid. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel Staff was very nice. The hotel common areas should have been a lot cleaner, there was crumbs and trash. Coffee was not made when we arrived but they promptly made a fresh pot and were very nice about it. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The Pool was NOT clean and the water was dirty and cloudy and the chairs were all stacked on each other. The outside was not comfortable but the rooms were nice and the staff was friendly. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, a couple of problems. Rana at the front desk was superb! The bed was extremely comfortable and there were plenty of suitable pillows. The toilet in the room leaked so there was an annoying "ghost" as it refilled intermittently. The handle also was very hard to push down. One pillowcases had a bloodstain, but it looked like it had gone through the laundry already so we didn't complain. I felt the room was not quite up to normal Holiday Inn standards and especially not for the price paid. Also, I've paid the same or less at a comparable chain and had a much higher quality breakfast including real, not instant, oatmeal with a choice of toppings. The omelet wasn't bad, however, and there were Twinings teas. I booked the room while on the road via the website, which I signed into with my Priority Club number before I left home. Unfortunately, there's no dedicated Holiday Inn or IHG app for Windows Phone. A tile going straight to the mobile site wouldn't be too hard to code, would it? Anyway, an improvement to the website would be to list alternate properties not only by distance, but also by direction of travel. My first choice was unavailable, and the next hotel was listed as 12 miles from the first but I didn't know which way and had to open a maps app just to clarify. July 9, 2014

The location is close to everything you may want to eat and convenient to Gas and Grocery. Also has plenty of parking. The staff is all friendly from the breakfast room to the front desk.
