The night staff was new so it took us a very long time to get checked in because it was a weekend and they were getting slamed with people but she got the job done. No perks given for Gold members like I have gotten at other HIE such as gift bag w/water & snacks and the room was missing the Clock. It was within walking distance of a Cracker Barrel which was a real perk. I was traveling on business and will stay here again if in the area.

For one the coffee doesn't even taste like coffee. It's not good. This place is clean but the staff needs to be a little more attentive

Checked in about 8 pm. Front desk clerk seemed inexperienced and flustered. Waited about 10 minutes while she checked in man in front of us. Several more people waited in line behind me. We'd booked online hours earlier, but no room assignment had been done. She told me she was upgrading me because all the 2 queen bed rooms were full. However, we still ended up in a standard 2 queen room. Outside our room a commercial dryer was running noisily in the hallway after some sort of leak. Room was not clean. A bug was in the tub and there were long black hairs on bathroom floor. Bed had an awful waterproof plastic mattress cover that made for miserable sleeping. Room had wall damage where something had been attached to the wall and then removed. Given the long line at the front desk and our exhaustion after a very long day on the road, we opted just to stay in the room. Worst Holiday Inn Express experience in memory.

The shower drain was completely clogged. I was given some Drain O to fix the problem. The shower would dain slowly after the I used the Drain O. The next morning, the drain did not work again and I was given more Drain O, this time it worked.
The AC unit was extreamly loud and woke me up every time it came on.

My spouse and I enjoyed our stay at the property located in Whitewater Kentucky. We were very texhausted until we locate the propety. Although renovations were going on at the time of our arrival, it did not despair us because we had a very relaxing afternoon. The price was absolutely within our budget and our relaxation was worth its weight in gold. The receptionist was pleasant and made our stay a pleasure.

My wife & I stayed here for one night while driving from FL to our home in WI. It is a nice place with a good staff and it was quiet, even though it was near the Interstate.

The hotel was clean and nice, but the pool and hot tub were disgusting. The hot tub water was green and brown, the drain was messed up, and it was cold. The pool was green around the sides and on the bottom in part of the pool, there were also many bugs floating on and in the water and the filters were full of bugs. We had chosen this hotel because of it having a pool and hot tub. We were only able to swim in a very small section of the pool because it was so nasty in the rest. It made for a very unpleasant experience for us. When I went to the front desk to tell them about the condition of the pool, they tried to tell me the pool and hot tub had been cleaned just the day before. There is no way they had been cleaned the day before, they had obviously not been cleaned in weeks.
We enjoyed breakfast, but would have liked to have had bacon.

I have stayed at this property several time. The ladies at the front desk are always helpful. I would like to mention the young man who does maintenance and housekeeping is awesome. He seems to be a very hard worker and is constantly doing something. He should get kudos for being very mature and diligent about his job at such a young age. I can't recall his name but his mom is a front desk manager.

If you are looking for your best bang for your buck then this is it!
If you are visiting the downtown Nashville area and want to save about $100 per night then drive the 20 extra miles to this location.
It is located in a small town and is a newer property. The building was very clean and well taken care of and the staff was great.
Was given recognition as a Platinum member and was upgraded without having to ask. Also, was given a nice goodie bag to boot!

We had a wonderful stay at the White House Holiday Inn Express! The room was immaculate! The bed was extremely comfortable and we were never bothered by noise, even though the hotel was nearly full! I was pleasantly surprised! Outside, the interstate roars by, but we never heard it. There are several restaurants within walking distance, which is always a plus after a long drive. We will stay again if we find ourselves in the vicinity. I read some negative comments before we booked there, but decided the proximity to our destination would be a plus. I could not believe anyone would have anything bad to say! You will enjoy a stay there!

Holiday Inn Express is our preferred hotel and we travel about 14 weeks a year for work and leisure. This is my first negative experience with Holiday Inn Express.
The room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it is a non-smoking hotel. The king size bed was hard. The toilet seat was up in the bathroom when we went to the room, as if someone had been in the room since it had been cleaned. There was hair on the floor in the bathroom and the carpets did not look clean.
I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family.

A very clean property, very easy access off I-65. Close to several restaurants. The staff were friendly and attentive with no shortage of smiles.
I will definitely stay here again on my trips through Nashville area.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. When I travel, I look for a Holiday Inn Express for my stay. Normally, they are clean, smell good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel smelled and the floors were filthy. We had to change our rooms because they smelled, one was smoky and the other had a musty smell.
The staff was accommodating in changing the rooms, but you can tell she wasn't pleased.
You could also tell the food had been sitting for quite awhile.
Almost turned me off of the chain.

Couldn't ask for better service than what we received at this hotel. It just seemed like they cared beyond the norm.
Also wonderful pillows in a very clean room.
Great job wouldn't hesitate to stop here again!

This Holiday Inn Express was very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was pleasant. The TV capability was very good. The price has become a bit high for a travel stop.

I typically enjoy all IHG hotels I've stayed in but this one fell below the standard I have been spoiled to. I was not even greeted as a PCM. Most IHG hotels would have a special welcome of some type even if it's just a bottle of water.
I was disapointed with this hotel stay and will not stay there again. Just thought you should know how they are representing.

To begin with, the room itself was up to Holiday Inn Express standards with comfortable beds and attractive decor. The staff were polite and accommodating.
Unfortunately the overall appearance of the hotel indicated long-term neglect: the hallways were in shabby condition, there was only one elevator, and the breakfast room was ordinary. Renovation was in progress. As we continued our journey through Mexico, the two Holiday Inn Express hotels at which we stayed easily outclassed White House in terms of architectural design, and quality of service.
Room charges for this hotel were the highest of the five at which we stayed on this trip (three in the U.S., and two in Mexico). Much better value was available nearby.
