Great staff-warm, friendly and very helpful!
The guest rooms are not designed for business travellers. There is nowhere to plug a computer in unless you get down on the floor and crawl behind the desk. There is nowhere to plug in a phone other than the bathroom. The phone only rings on the bedside table so if someone is calling you and you need to be at the desk you cannot be. The desk chairs are cheap and uncomfortable.
The beds probably need to be replaced this year. This hotel is very busy because of its location however it is way overpriced, even given the supply and demand revenue managment model they follow. It appears they will squeeze every cent of revenue out of the property as possible while the town is so busy.
There is competition in town now though and more on the horizon. it is time to spend some money upgrading this hotel.

My stay at the Holiday Inn in Whitecourt was a great way to relax after a day of work. I stayed for 10 nights with my two Chihuahuas in a basic, two queen room. The staff at the hotel were very courteous to myself and my dogs and even spent time with my dogs while I was away from work! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a hotel in Whitecourt and has pets
