Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Poor Service and NO SHUTTLE Although this is a new property, the owners could care less about leaving customers stranded at airports!!! I recently stayed and confirmed several times that a shuttle would pick me up from the airport upon arrival..... only to find out that the shuttle service was discontinued without notice! I was given a room that was dirty.... still had the towels from previous guest hanging in shower plus trash cans not emptied. August 19, 2013

The hotel also has a courtesy van to get you where you need to be. I will stay here again when in Wichita. August 12, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good but maybe time for some updates The stay was pleasant with the exception of the pillows. They seemed to be deteriorated to the point of being very uncomfortable. Breakfast was the basic Holiday Inn Express breakfast. More fruit selections would be nice, something besides bananas. The location is convenient for the airport and other business. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Above and Beyond I stay at a lot of hotels every year. Last year I was in a hotel over 150 nights. This hotel is one that I will remember for a long time. The staff went above and beyond to please. My crew and I had flown into the local airport to drop off some passengers and the hotel staff had a shuttle waiting for us (we had called earlier to give an approximate time of arrival). They were very friendly, and helped us load and unload our bags. After arriving at the hotel I found that I had left my computer in the airplane, so one of the staff members drove me back out at an unscheduled shuttle time. The facilities were also very nice. I tend to judge hotels based on the quality of their linens, since hotels that are cheap in those areas are usually cheap in other areas as well. The towels were soft and fluffy. Great quality. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by What is happening? This used to be my favorite hotel and has been the only place I wanted to stay in Wichita since the week after if opened. But something has changed this summer. And it goes from bad to worse. When they went to digital cable we got more channel selection but the remote is slow and there is no sleep switch so it's either leave it on all night or don't use it to fall asleep to. Breakfast has gone downhill. They don't have the variety they used to and are out of things a lot of times. What happened to the priority club den that used to be available to us? It has been closed for 2 weeks now. The latest things happening are the worst though. The ice machine doesn't work half the time. And the a/c no longer cools the room. It is at least 10 degrees cooler in the hallway. The a/c blows cool air but it never really cools off and it feels like a swamp cooler. The floors constantly felt damp. The staff is the best part of the property. Most of them are very friendly and I always enjoy seeing them. I hope that management realizes that there needs to be some maintenance done to bring it back up to the high quality it has always been in the past. July 2, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Television The TV cable was loose when we arrived but was fixed soon after we reported it. After that the reception on the TV was sporadic and couldn't be fixed properly. The remote was confusing and changing the channels was an issue. There was a delay from pushing the channel changer to when the channel actually changed. The staff was always eager to accommodate any other needs we had. June 26, 2013

Very good explaining those same features we always hear when checking in but she did it in a way I looked forward to the stay. Called me in the morning to let me know the shuttle to the airport will be waiting for me. My flight was delayed and that didn't matter, it was ready when I was. I had stayed in Wichita several times the night before a flight at other hotels, no longer. I'll be using this HIE from now on. June 5, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Stuffy room and uncomfortable bed. The location of the hotel was great for my business. The staff were friendly and the internet access was excellent including the ability to print documents. What made my stay less desirable was the fact that I could not control the room temperature and found it to be quite stuffy even though it was cool outside. I had to run the cooling unit located under the window all night which didn't seem to cool the room down. This coupled with the overly hard bed made it difficult to sleep. The room rate was good, however, I may find another hotel for my next visit to Wichita. April 22, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cold water shave and shower First morning no hot water.. not even lukewarm. Due to early appointment at Boeing no time to call and change room. I advised the front desk that morning. Response.... Oh yeh we had some other rooms same problem, sorry. We'll let the manager know. Next day checking out still nothing from the manager. Advised the front desk as I checked out again about the day before. Response.... We'll let the manager know. No offer to satisfy. I paid for a room to have hot water but the lack of a response was even more bothersome. I guess if I hear back from this I'll know if they actually get read. February 21, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service As soon as I walked into my Kind Suite I noticed it was a bit warm, so I went to turn on the A/C. The front panel was pulled open and I couldn't adjust the temperature. Not sure if maintenance was working on it and the room wasn't supposed to be used or not. I called the front desk and told the very helpful lady working about the problem. She immediately found me another room one floor down and asked me to meet her there. Not only did she get me straight into another room, I was upgraded to a much nicer room for no extra charge. The room and my four day stay was excellent, except for the pillows. The pillows looked nice and fluffy but were very flat and uncomfortable. They didn't stop me from getting plenty of rest though. I never asked about any other pillows simply because I didn't really think they had anything different. If that's what I had in an executive style suite then they probably didn't have anything better. Still a great hotel and stay!! Very frequent Holiday Inn visitor and still will be. December 11, 2012

The staff is always friendly and act like they're genuinely glad I've chosen to stay with them. The rooms, hallways, and breakfast room are always very clean. December 3, 2012
