overall the hotel is great. unfortunately my first night was in a room next to the boiler. the sound kept me up all night. the lack of refrigerator and microwave in the standard room is a bit off putting, as well as the lack of a desk/ office style chair which i see in many less expensive rooms. i travel for my job and my boss is the one who picks where we stay so i have no choice, but overall not bad. Just could be better.

Desk person changed our accommodations because we changed our travel plans... she gave us the first floor room we asked for, made sure pets had not been in our room, and made the changes over the phone, confirming them via e-mail.
The staff was great to work with...I lost my room key and staff quickly changed my wife's key and gave me a new one.
The only drawback we could see (hear actually) was the noise from other rooms. Walls seem to be thin and ceilings not soundproofed. Other than that, no problems.

I am a platinum member. Have been upgraded at other hotels but no offer here. There was one king suite left in hotel and was offered to customer who was making a reservation on the phone.
The maid knocked on our door at 8:30 to see if she could clean our room. She did the same at 10:00. I would have thought the hotel would advise housekeeping of check outs thus ensuring guests are not interrupted.
