Two of my cousins and I decided to spend two nights in Williamsburg and shop the outlets. We chose this hotel based on the location. We will definitely return, based on the great service we received from the staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the room, and the delicious breakfast we enjoyed each morning.

Plenty of dining options just outside the door...Far enough fromthe pleasant "business" of the stay, yet near enough for a walk to the events as an option...I could relax...and enjoy favorite TV items...pleasant to be at..

Check in was good and was got room 206, well after trying my key a few times a Big guy comes to the door with death in his eyes. He said what are you doing and I said trying to get in my room and showed him my room number. He said well this is my room.
After picking up my teeth I went down and got room 330 that was fine.
Don't know how that happened but it was not good.

The customer service at the front desk has to be the worst that I have experienced. I contacted the hotel to inform of my late arrival around 10:30PM. When I arrived I was left standing in front of the front desk while 3 agents figured out who was going to check me. I was aknowledged by the statements of " oh I am logged out of Opera" and "Whose going to check her in?"
The checkin process was very quick and I was aleady turned off I did not even mention my PC Reward. The location is great since very close to Busch gardens and other attractions but the attitude of the staff completely ruins it.

This was a good clean hotel. We only stayed one night since we were spending the day at Busch Gardens. We didn't want to make the 3.5 hr drive back to Baltimore so we stayed at this hotel. They have a free continental breakfast in the mornings and free wifi. Our room had both a fridge and a microwave which was convenient. Highly recommend!

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and close to all of the places that we wanted to visit. I will recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The bed smelled as if the linen had not actually been washed but instead sprayed with some type of disinfectent. The odor of it caused a physical reaction with me that prevented me from sleeping. After driving for 12 hours that day I was too tired to look for another hotel. I have alwys been pleased with Holiday Inn Express in the past but this location was the exception.

We were using this property as a room for a performer coming to our venue. We've used them in the past and I thought the property looked very nice, was convenient to our downtown location, and was affordable. We've never heard bad things from our performers who have stayed there.
My problem was with the front desk staff. I went by earlier in the day to make sure that they had the reservation straight and that the appropriate credit card was being charged. I was told that all was fine. However, when the performers later appear to check in they were told that there was a third party authorization form that needed to be filled out. They had to fax it to me and I had to fax it back, which was a pretty big disruption to me and the performer at a time when we didn't need that. It was especially aggravating since I had gone by earlier in the day on my own time to make sure there were no problems.
As an aside, I should have figured that attention to detail wouldn't be their strong suit when I noticed that the printed weather forecast on display at the desk was from four days before.

We stayed at this property for the first time several years ago. This is the only place we will stay in Williamsburg, VA. It is convenient to all of our activities, always clean and the staff is always very nice and courteous.
We request a 1st floor room due to health reasons and to date - they have always honored our request.
We have always been able to find a parking spot at night, but sometimes it is difficult - especially when other patrons park over the line. They could use more parking.

We had an excellent experience for the 3 nights we stayed here. The room was excellent, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. We had a great time.
We will absolutely stay here again when we return to the Williamsburg area. This property is comparable to properties costing 25 - 50% more.

The location is very convenient to theme parks, colonial Williamsburg and the outlets. Hotel is very clean and staff were quite helpful. Rooms are very nice and we have stayed at this property several times.

Because of what at first appeared to be very minor car trouble but turned into having to rent a car to drive home, I found myself along with two teenagers hanging out in the hotel lobby over four hours after check-out time. The manager, Sabrina came to check on us and offered water. Later, she offered an extra pizza leftover from the employee's lunch. She refused an offer of money for the pizza. Sabrina went above and beyond basic good customer service. Her excellent customer service helped to calm a very stressful situation.
I didn't have the heart to complain about the hard-to-adjust high pressure shower head and the too small shower curtain.

The staff was very friendly but not knowledgeable of the transportation for guest for the surrounding activities (the trolly or the bus that stops right in front of the hotel). The eggs were runny/watery. There was not enough seating during breakfast time. The business center computer did not work. There was a mildew smell in the exercise room and you could not adjust the temperature in the room which after you worked, out the sweat and mildew was not a good combo. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan for the steam from the shower or if you used the bathroom. The pool did not feel heated. The a/c made a loud noise at night. Housekeeping does not pick up the sheets to check around the bed. The bed had candy and food crumbs around it.

Every thing was good about this hotel. One gripe is the shower curtain bar was sagging which made keeping the curtain closed very difficult. I wish ahh hotels that have thes curved bars, mounted them securely so they do not sag!

I have chosen this hotel in Williamsburg for the last 2 years. But this year was alittle different. I would suggest you check the rooms and hallways especially after the house cleaning is done. When we got there about 4 pm Thursday, the bed linens were all in the hallway on the second floor. They stayed there until the next morning. The hallway had the same trash in floor for the 2 days we stayed there. The bathroom and room was outdated. The bathroom had no fan. The shower curtain rod was so bent that the shower curtain stayed in the middle of the rod allowing water out on both sides. I would suggest someone going over the rooms and housecleaning periodically.

Our experience at this motel was a pleasant and enjoyable one. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. We had no issues with our stay. The desk staff was always friendly and helpful. When we decided to stay an extra day the lady was very helpful even switching things around so we could keep the same room! Would definitely stay here again!

The room was able to accomodate our family size of 5 by having 2 double beds and a pull-out sofa. However, the Holiday Inn web site did not inidcate there was a pull-out sofa, so I had requested a rollaway.
Otherwise, good location and nice room.

We travel to Williamsburg a couple times a year to stay for a night and shop. This was our first time staying at the holiday Inn Express and we loved it. The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast. My daughter loves making waffles when we stay at hotels and this was the first hotel with no waffle maker but a pancake maker, that wasn't working.
We definitely would recommend and stay again.

I like to stay at Holiday Inn Expresses because of the consistency between all of the different properties. The one thing I can say about this property over other Holiday Inn Expresses is the friendliness of the front desk staff.

The tub is disappointing. The tub holds water in the center because it is bowed in the center and does not drain completely. Do not like standing in used water. This should have been noticed by cleaning staff and reported. I'm sure that all the rooms are not like this and the stay would be fine.

I was headed home from Fredericksbury, Virginia and had a free night of stay and this was a good choice. I was headed to Virginia Beach but the rain during this trip ran me out of Virginia. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were very pleased with our recent stay. The staff was friendly, the location was good and the rate for the size of the room and amenities was a great value. The room was quiet despite my concerns when I saw a high school baseball team entering the hallway (Thanks, Coach and parents!) The breakfast had good variety and there was ample seating. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would certainly recommend it to others who intend to visit the area.

This hotel is wonderful place to stay, the staff was friendly and courteous. Great breakfast choices such as eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, etc. thanks to Pam. The only negative thing was our air conditioner was not working right the first night but the next day the whole unit was replaced by the Maintenance Manager, Mike. I would definitely stay here again when we decide to return to Williamsburg again. I will also recommend to others.

A beautiful location for a Holiday Inn, it is rare to find one made from bricks. It was the last room, the Air Conditioner may of had a bearing going bad which caused a loud clicking noise, it was the next morning before the temperature in the room made it to 70 degrees, if I was not told it was the last room I would of complained, I was just glad to have a bed to sleep in after driving 300 miles, besides that I would say there again.

I have stayed here twice from May to July. Very helpful staff at registration desk especially, Sabrina. Within walking distance to restaurants and a theatre.
