Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor quality I could not recommend this motel. The motel was barely adequate. The room was not prepared for guests and had construction issues. Although some of the personnel were excellent we had some that were very inconsiderate. October 15, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible experience - gave our room away! We had a terrible experience at this hotel. Upon our arrival, we were shocked to find out that they had given our room away without notifying us. Apparently, the hotel ran our credit card the day before and since that card number was no longer current (we were issued a new card number after the Home Depot security breech), the hotel employee "followed their policy" and cancelled our room without ever trying to contact me (they had both my email and cell phone on record). When questioned about this, we were informed that contacting the customer when cancelling their room reservation was "just a courtesy and not required." This happened to at least 20 other customers who were angrily waiting around the lounge for the manager to do something. Meanwhile, the hotel was honoring room reservations that were coming through online at the same time while those of us who had reserved a room months in advance had nowhere to stay. So much for putting the customer first! In fact, when asked about their customer service policy, the manager on duty said it was corporate policy to cancel rooms and they they were more important than the customer. Poor reflection on all of Holiday Inn corporate, not just this one hotel!! Also, when we finally did get a room there, our non-smoking room smelled terribly of smoke. It really was not suitable for our 8 month-old son, but what choice did we have? It was 10pm and all other hotels in the area were booked. We will not be staying in this hotel again, and highly caution against anyone else reading this review to stay their either. October 9, 2014
