Stayed twice in the past 2 weeks and each time the staff was great. My only dissatisfaction is that the first time I could hear/feel every step taken by the folks in the room above, and the 2nd time we requested a top floor room andwe could hear every word spoken in the room next to us. I just think that the motel was constructed with less than adequate sound deadening. Otherwise, the stays were most enjoyable.

Congenial, knowledgeable staff. Always a pleasant greeting and and expressed interest in ones welfare. Very high knowledge of surrounding area with expert directions. Made for a very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend this facility to all travelers.

Had a nice stay here. The Front Counter Staff were very nice. I liked my room and it was orderly and clean. They also had way better pillows than most Holiday Inn Express'. I made it a favorite and will go back again.

Wonderful people alway ask if I needed anything good breakfast and nice overall hotel. Would stay again if I am in the area. Nice pool and was a very quite hotel.

Upon arrival I needed to quickly check e-mail, print a document and have it faxed. The desk clerk made every effort to help me and I met my deadline with no problem. I truly appreciate that and I will definitely stay at this location again.

The motel has a good location and the people are friendly. This is the most expensive Holiday Inn Express I have stayed at this year. I had one free room and one I paid for.

I was recognized as platinum, received my drinks and snacks.
I used some points and cash to stay, got home and discovered charges (not mine) on my card, I called the hotel and was told that was an error, and they would reverse the charge. What I dont understand is that they showed up as a second charge??????
Breakfast was adequate.
I sat near the management team, while they had a meeting with the corporate "inspector". They seemed to answer her questions, with "we tried that, it didnt work". . They also stated that the 3rd floor bedding had recently been replaced. Which seems contrary to some of the reviews here.
The frustrating part re: the reviews, is the negatives are responded to with boilerplate responses. The results seem to not include any accommodations.
but overall not a bad experience.
I had intended to try St Ignace next week, but the reviews are pretty bad.
