Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by business in Wilson Overall nice place, rooms were decent. Breakfast was average. Parking spaces are tight, not a lot of room between cars. Only issue was disrespectful guests that cannot park to begin with or ones that completely block the doorway while they go get there luggage or Sit down for breakfast. February 23, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Romantic Escape Getaway We have been coming here for about three to four years now. We always come on Valentines Weekend if possible.We always get the same package. We were able to get late checkout for this package. This a clean, quiet hotel and the staff is always wonderful especially the front desk Manger Mrs. Phyllis. One our friends stayed there this time also and got the same package and they said they would be back and they enjoyed also. February 17, 2015

I arrived without a reservation and asked the front desk attendant how much a room would be, his response? x number of dollars. I then asked if the hotel had a government discount. His response was yes--and quoted me the same amount as a regular room. After I pointed out that that in fact meant they didn't have a discount, another person (she didn't look at or acknowledge me at all) instructed him to put it in at a slight discount (the man helping me did not seem to know what he was doing at all, she had to take him through everything step by step, to include fixing the fact that he tried to book me in a room that was already occupied). The room was unremarkable but seemed clean. Everything else about the stay was fine---until check out. I came downstairs prior to breakfast to find the front desk person sitting in the dining area with his feet up on a chair, watching TV and chewing on a coffee stir stick. The night before, I signed up for a IHG reward card and wanted my stay put on the card and also wanted to make sure I was checked out and good to go (I always like to check even if they say they have auto check out) It was clear I had interrupted his morning and that he could care less. He refused to look at my bill so he could input my points or really anything else and instead took my name and said he would "look into it later" (the stir stick he was chewing on was hanging out of his mouth the WHOLE TIME he talked to me). Sure enough, I did not receive the points. When I called to complain, the manager could be heard laughing on the phone at me and claimed I never stayed there and swore it had to be the 'other Holiday Inn in Wilson'. I called there, the difference in service/caring was AMAZING and no, sadly that was not where I stayed. She gave me the customer service number to call to get my points. Turns out the front desk guy really didn't know what he was doing...they couldn't find my account because he put me in the system under my MIDDLE NAME (no one seems to know why) and incorrect billing address. Between the poorly trained front desk person in check in, the rude front desk on check out and the uncaring manager, if I have to stay in Wilson again it will not be at this property. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thank You, no Thank you! I travel to the Wilson area 3 or 4 times a month. I always stay at the Holiday Inn Express I95. A few days after my stay I get a "Thank You" email in appreciation of my stay. Well right back to the entire staff. Each and everyone of you that makes it as close as possible to being home. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by last on way home Gal who checked us in was courteous but appeared to be working with new person. They seemed very nice and we got our room daily quickly after a three day trip home. I not sure who made an error but we got 3 wake up calls starting at 6:22 am. No one seemed concerned except the mature lady on the morning shift. We we came back in to leave key she had made an adjustment to the bill. We have stayed there before and like the location breakfast offering and staff. February 12, 2015
