Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service and Very Clean Hotel This hotel was very, very clean. The hotel staff was awesome and friendly and provide great customer service. Our room was cleaned every day within a short time frame while we were eating breakfast, which was nice to walk back into a clean room. Our cleaning staff was very observant to notice when we left so they could clean while we were gone. I was very impressed with that. The breakfast was very good, and had a good variety. They had cold drinks and appetizers every night around 6pm, which was a great way to relax when coming in from work. The exercise room was good, had clean towels and big screen TV. Overall, our experience was wonderful and I would recommend that if you want great customer service and a clean hotel, that this is the hotel you need to stay at. June 23, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by okay in an emergency I've stayed here before and remembered it as a pleasant experience. However, this time, I was unable to get very much sleep. The walls were paper thin and apparently a family with young children were staying next door. The children were probably not any noisier than normal, but they could be heard through the walls...made for a very rough night before a 10 drive to Florida in the a.m. I ended up delaying my trip home to Florida, and went to visit my children in MD. I came back through Wilson. I attempted to get a room again ( I was willing to give them another try#, but was informed the rate had gone up $10, and the desk clerk would not budge - in spite of my recent stay and rewards status. I ended up staying at a different hotel in Wilson #for the same price as my original stay at HIE). The quality was much better - great breakfast buffet, hot cookies on arrival, and a snack bag on departure. Best of all... I actually slept!!! March 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great all around place. Ladies and gentlemen. After a long day of pro wrestling I love to be pampered. I get just that @ HIE. Walk in to be greeted with a lovely smile by Carol, the asst. GM. The fastest check in ever. We skipped the pool, wasn't ready for the Polar Plunge. Too tired for the indoor fitness. The triple sheeted beds just made me feel like I was at home. The hot express buffet is a great start in the morning. Hot chocolate to go! I love this chain and you will too. Ms. Bryant knows how to treat her guest. You should visit them in Wilson and Hope Mills NC — with Shelby Dean Bryant at Holiday Inn Express. February 26, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by too much noise In the morning the staff were very noisy trying to get a early start by cleaning the rooms I guess of people who checked out early. Of course that makes it uncomfortable for people like myself who check out late. So vacuum cleaners, walkie talkies, and the staff conversations was all I heard in the morning before 10 a.m. The bed was comfortable, but it wasn't completely made when I pulled the covers back. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Wilson - Snow storm This property is very clean and very well taken care of. I was stuck at the hotel due to the snow last week and the staff was very accommodating during a stressful time. Everyone was so friendly and courteous it made me feel more at ease. I know this area does not get snow frequently, I think they could have done a much better job of making it safer in the parking area. The drive was slick and so was the entrance to the hotel. I also had an incident of other guests smoking in the stairwell - I did report it, but it didn't seem that the staff was aware - they handled it. Overall the property was well maintained and the staff was very professional and friendly. February 3, 2014

The front desk person after some discussion deciced to honor the price given over the phone, but acted like it was some favor she was doing me. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room and quiet Overall this was a good stay and all except one staff member was gracious and accommodating. The woman checking us in was efficient to the point of being gruff. She gave the impression that we'd interrupted something that she was in a hurry to return to. Even though the breakfast was good the overall quality was a bit below other Holiday Inn Express experiences. Ran out of bacon. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable - overall very nice. On our next visit to Wilson we'll choose to stay here again. January 2, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Little known gem Off the beaten path and very quiet. Special thanks to Tammy and Norma for their attention to customer service satisfaction. Both ladies have award winning smiles and go above and beyond their "required" duties. I love people who can think outside the box! Though the room was very comfortable the microwave could use some attention. It was clean, but the front panel was detached from the unit. Breakfast bar was fresh and fully stocked. We stayed on the way up north and on the way back south. Actual check out was 10/22, not 10/23 October 26, 2013

It was very clean, which is extremely important. The bed was comfortable and for the most part, it was quite. We would recommend this hotel. October 9, 2013

When I visit relatives and friends still living in Wilson, Greene and Pitt Counties, I always stay at this facility. In addition, I recruit teachers for some NC School districts and when in the area, I also stay in this hotel. This hotel had been very supportive of my individual requests and special needs! We find this hotel to be both comfortable and clean a step above the rest. The front desk employees attend to your every need in a prompt manner. The staff was friendly, room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast could've been better, however the biscuits and coffee tasted good.
