This is the second time we visited this site. We were shocked at the quick and pleasant check in and check process during our first stay. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We do plan on stopping at this hotel in the future.

Very unhappy eexperience. First it is difficult location to find coming from interstate 81. When I did finally found it the room key would not open the door not once but three different times. I finally asked the
Front desk clerk to go up and open the door to the room. She was none too pleased and paid me back by leaving me a 4:00 am wake
up call. Very nasty and unprofessional.

My stay was complicated by having 3 separate reservations over a 5 day stay due to a mix of business and pleasure for the week and the front desk staff handled it beautifully. They were kind, courteous and extremely helpful even while dealing with multiple tour groups checking in and out.
The service within the restaurant and bar areas were exceptional as well. Always smiling and connecting regardless of how busy they were.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel and will stay there again myself

this room is a no smoking room. room 100. but when i got there , i found out that the person in the room before me ignored the no smoking ban in this room. the room and pillows reacked of smoke. iam not sure the staff could have prevented this.it was sombody who did not care about the non smoker who would rent this next. this made for a very uncomfortble night for me and my wife. sorry for the hotel staff who have to deal with thease tipe of people.

If I don't have a place to stay with a friend during race weekends at Summit Point this is where I always stay. Easy to get to, the staff is very accommodating, the rooms are clean and nice, and you even get a nice little breakfast. I love staying here....

This H.I. Express was a much better experience than comparably priced properties that I've book in my recent travels. Kudos to the facility staff. I might suggest that they replace the aged treadmill in the fitness center as it sounded as if it was on its last leg.

No fresh fruit, they didn't even have hot sauce or ketchup as condiments. I don't understand why these hotels continue to offer that greasy unhealthy sausage gravy.

My husband and I stayed there in February because of a hospital visit. I asked if there was a room available on the next night if a hospital stay was necessary. The desk attendant said that yes there would be a room available, and to call from the hospital early and ask for the rate for hospital stays. The same attendant was on duty the next evening, and asked if I needed help carrying anything because I looked so tired.
The first bed was not too comfortable, but the second was fine.
I have already recommended the hotel and given the phone number to a friend.
Thanks for the location near the hospital and the special hospital rate!

Great Hotel. I travel weekly and only stay in either Holiday or Comfort hotels. On the road 50 weeks a year. This hotel is one of the best. good staff, extremly neat and clean. good breakfast.
If you are in the area and need a good hotel this is it.

Very quiet room even though it was next to interstate 522. The room was clean, the heating/ac unit worked well and quietly. There was a good selection on the TV including HBO and pay movies. The price was very reasonable. The king bed room had plenty of walking space so you did not feel crowded in. The front desk clerks were knowledgeable about restaurants close by which made getting a meal in a strange town a whole lot easier after a full day of travel and business meetings.
The free breakfast bar was fully loaded with eggs, sausage gravy and buscuits, fruit, juices, sweet buns, cereal, coffee, etc. You won't go away hungry.
This place had an indoor swimming pool and hot tub as well as an exercise room.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and plan to stay there again.

My family and I use Holiday Inn Express regularly as part of our travel plans. We know what to expect and most locations are similar in amenities and quality. In general, we are happy with the hotel.
I only have two concerns. It seems that even if you book your reservation in advance and specify the number in your party, there will only be 3 towel sets in the room. For my family, this is one short of what is needed. This has happened about every time and is easily fixed with some attention to detail.
The second concern is the amount of noise coming from the AC/Heater unit in the wall. This problem can likely not be fixed without new equipment . For me, it is difficult to sleep with the amount of noise coming from these units.

The best part to us was the friendly, fast, cureteous service received since our check in & throughout our stay. The room was clean and cozy. The pool area was very clean, warm and enjoyable. The Fitness room was well equiped and cozy to use. However, perhaps since we stayed near the elevator rooms, the hall ways were a bit noisy, as well as the Ice machine in the hall way right by the elevator. The water flowing from the next door restroom could be heard in our room by the wall area. Another very noisy appliance was the heater, so we opted on not over using it as it would be loud and not allow one of us to sleep too well or woke one of us up when it turned on and off. Other than some of these noise factors we have nothing else to add to this review. We would attempt staying here again if needed, but perhaps request a room further out or away from elevator area or ice machine at least to cut down on the noise level and be able to sleep.

The mattress was horrible! The pillows smelled like some guy's armpit! Otherwise, it wasn't a bad place to stay. We wouldn't stay again though because the mattress made it feel like we were camping.

We've stayed at this motel on several occasions and have always been very satisfied. The staff are always very professional and personal. The rooms have always been very clean. The only dissatisfaction I have had is on the last two visits, there has been a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the halls. There are plenty of no smoking signs in the halls, but the smell at times has been very strong and offensive. We will, however, return.

We stayed in the King suite, it was very clean and roomy and comfortable. The shower was good and room service does not come around at the break of dawn so if you like to sleep in some its still pretty quiet. Breakfast buffet was ok, they have their famous cinnamon buns, but if you like to eat healthy the continental breakfast will not be for you. Only down point for us was the pool had very limited hours and was only opened from 9am - 10 pm. and the fitness center was not opened 24 hours like in most hotels. Overall the staff was very nice and its a nice clean hotel in a very safe location.We would definitely stay there again if we are back in the area.

went as a family to get away for the weekend. the hotel was easy to find, staff were very helpfu and greeted us immediately. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice to be able to use when it is 40 degrees outside. Breakfast was very nice, many choices and stocked until they break it down. I would definitely recommend

Convenient location to our sporting event. Also located next to restaurants and convenience store. Easy on/easy off from major routes. Staff friendly and helpful. They are even willing to set up breakfast early for our sporting group as we must rise early to participate. Many who are in our organization stay at this facility because of the location and services provided. Would recommend this property. Have stayed here for years and will continue to do so.
