Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great stop called hotel from road for a 1 day stay with thought of extending 3 more days if we liked the hotel (we did); got an upgrade at the desk when the room clerk saw my HI priority card was from the 80's and said it was thye oldest card she had ever seen. She ("Robin") was exceedingly helpful and steered us to a local restaurant which was the best bang for the buck for our enitire 10 day vacation (as well as other general advice). Location of hotel between Santa Rosa and Healdsberg was unbeloievably convenient for Napa and Sonoma wine touring as well as easy access to the Pacific coast.. In short, location was 5/5, complimentary breakfast was very good, including the service (my wife was even able to get fresh lemon for her tea, the entire staff was very helpful, friendly and couteous, te accomodations were excellent. What else can I say except that i must sound like a pr person for HIE. February 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Experience in Windsor Flying in late from LA with kids and being received so warmly by the front desk manager was just what we needed. We were given an upgrade upon request, a roll away bed and even an opportunity to have a late night refreshment from an earlier wine tasting in the lobby. Pays to be a rewards member! Everything about our room was clean. I had stayed at this hotel before and was impressed then also. This is definitely one of my favorite Holiday Inn Express hotels. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NO HVAC WE CHECKED IN LATE AND FELL ASLEEP BEFORE SETTING THERMOSTAT. WE WOKE UP SWELTERING AT 2 AM ONLY TO DETERMINE THAT THE HVAC WAS COMPLETELY INOPERABLE IN ROOM. THE REFRIGERATOR AND ROAD NOISE MADE IT DIFFICULT TO GET ANY SLEEP February 17, 2015
