I had never been in that part of Nevada before and I didn't expect much for a hotel. However I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was attentive and willing to help. The property was like many Holiday Inns so I got what I expected, no surprises.
I ate at the restaurant that is in the same complex, pretty good and very affordable.
If I am ever back that way again I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

i stay at this hotel once a week through the year. I can say for a fact ive always had a good experience clean comfortable rooms and a excellent staff that provides great customer service that is why i will keep coming back.

This was such a great change after the disaster at Cal Expo Holiday Inn Express In Sacramento, CA. The Staff in Winnemucca were so sweet we even took the dinner. Love those girls.

We got snowed in for 2 days and had a great visit. Staff was always will to visit and always available when needed. We will stay here again if we make it through here again.

My work often brings me to Winnemucca. This location works very hard to make sure that its Guests are well cared for. From the front desk to the housekeeping, even the maintance staff make sure Guests are comfortable. Thank you for making me feel right at home.

The Television in the dining area is over the coffee and other assorted breakfast items. With that being said...it feels like all eyes are on you when serving yourself.

The Cable TV was sick. Not a very good selection of channels. Also the pricing is just to high. I only stay here two times a year thank god! I stay at a lot of other places and pay a lot less and get more of everything.

I have stayed at 3 different HIXs over in the past month, and have written some 'not-so-flattering' reviews about two of them.
However, this HIX in Winnemucca has gotten a PERFECT SCORE from me....#This is the first time I have ever given a perfect score for any HIX!#.
The rooms are extremely clean....kudos to the entire housekeeping starff for that! And the Breakfast hostest was right on-top of making sure to not run low on any of the items. And finally, for a weary travler like my self, it is always special to be greeted like I was by the Front Desk receptionist. Very polite and cheerful. #The manager of this HIX must be doing something right in their hiring-practices, as there was a young girl undergoing training at the Front Desk, and she had a bright smile the entire time. She had no problem conversing,....not shy at all.#
No nasty surprises at this HIX....it is run the way a hotel should be run. JOB WELL DONE!
