We were told at check-in that the only room available was a 'suite' so we accepted. We were disappointed to find that our room was only an oversized room. We stay at Holiday Inns quite often and were discouraged at being misled about the room. A 'suite' by definition is a set of rooms, not a big room. While the staff was very friendly and the room was clean, the price was excessive for the accommodations we received, even though the price was reduced.

I stay at this property regularly and have always found the staff to be extremely accommidating and pleasant with all the guest who come through the doors.

Our check-in clerk was very impersonable. She acted like she wanted to be somewhere else.

I stay at the hotel for work. They have good work space, good beds, and the staff goes out of thier way to help in any way.

This establishment does not meet the standards we have come to expect from the Holiday Inn Express. It is a poorly renovated, older hotel. It was not as clean as we like, the heating system was very loud, and the breakfast space and quality was poor. Further, we were disappointed that there was no onsite fitness facility. We expect a minimum standard of quality from the Holiday Inn Express and this place fell far short.

We enjoy the evenings we spend at the Holiday Inn Express Winnemucca. This is the 1/2 way point in our trip. We just like to break up the drive.
The staff is AWESOME! Whenever I call the are so friendly and when I give my name they always seem to remember. They take care of everything we need.
Enjoy the breakfast. Good variety. Recently added a pancake machine. YUM!!!
Can't wait for our next stay in April.

This was a great stopping place on our trip. The staff was extra helpful and the extra treat for priority members was very welcoming. The rooms were clean and comforable and the breakfast in the morning provided several extras. We would stay again if in the area. Loved the cookies and fresh fruit in the lobby.

Upon arriving in Winnemucca from the Placerville, CA area we were greeted by a friendly staff member, Jolean. She is the perfect example of what all employees should strive for in the hospitlality industry. Her pleasantry started when she actually booked our reservation on the phone and padi attention to every detail making sure to book a room for us that would accomdodate all members for our party. Each member in our party was given a welcome snack bag at arrival. This was much appreciated after our long drive. The hotel was clean and well decorated .Our room was welcoming and inviting. Breakfast had a great selection. Definitely recommend staying at this hotel. We enjoyed local Basque food and the salad bar at the Winnemucca Inn Casino is great too. What a nice place to visit while travelling in or through Nevada. And also wanted to mention the pool seemed well maintained and clean.

The staff at this location does a great job for its guest. From the front desk to housekeeping. I don't know what they used to make the rooms smell so clean and fresh, the moment I walk into the room it helps me to relax.

Not the most elegant HIExpress we've stayed in but a restful break in a remote location. We entered to find a long line of people waiting to register with only one front desk clerk. Could have been a real disaster but that one guy was amazing - calm, efficient and gracious, giving each person such attentive service and so quickly that the rest of us waited calmly. Give that guy a raise!
Breakfast seemed calculated to meet the minimum standards and could benefit from better quality coffee and tea, but we appreciated that it was actually available earlier than the 6 am posted start
Please consider more healthful options for the Priority Club bag!
