Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by front desk rented my room out while i was in it after having someone enter my room while i was in it, we both went to the front desk where they gave the gentleman a different room and said sorry it must have been a glitch in the system. when i said i was quite upset they responded with there is nothing we can do. they ended up comping my room for the night and i ended up getting another hotel in town. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Overall Experience On a trip when I really needed no hassles and a positive experience where I was staying, Holiday Inn Express in Winona provided it. Very nice facility from front desk to room, to breakfast dining area, fitness room and overall appearance. Facilites in walking distance for dining. Very nice and functional room and extrememly quiet even though the property must have been nearly full form the cars and people observed. December 22, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Do not choose a Hot Tub suite if you stay here to relax Stayed in a hot tub suite for some extra relaxing. This is not at all what we got. After use of the hot tub and getting ready for bed the jets on the tub turned on all by themself. Contacted the front desk because we could not get it to shut off. Agent came up and turned it off and said that it sometimes happens. about 30 minutes later it happened again. Called the desk and they directed us how to turn it off. 40 minutes later it happened again! My two year old ended up sleeping in bed with us because she was too scared to sleep by the hot tub. No sleep for this Mom and not at all relaxing like we hoped. Upon check out I again stressed my dissatisfaction with the situation to be informed that it was an automatic cleaning feature in the tubs. I am skeptical on that since it happened three times. If it is a cleaning feature I think the guests should know that up front. December 18, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Do not get a hot tub suite if you want to relax We came to the area for a wedding and decided to use points and splurge on a nice suite while we were visiting. Bad idea! After my daughter played in the tub for a while and had been drained we got ready for bed. To our surprise the jets on the tub decided to turn on all by themselves scaring our child. We contacted the front desk because we couldn't get it to turn off and they came up and shut it off saying that it sometimes happens. Ok, I understand things happen but when it came back on for a second time after crawling into bed and again trying to put our daughter to sleep I was a bit concerned. I called the desk again and he said for us to press and hold the button in until it would eventually shut it off. About another 30 or so minutes later I finally got my daughter to sleep for it to happen again!! Needless to say she spent the night in bed with us. Not a great night spent on points for a terrible sleep. I explained to the front desk the next morning of my concerns with my stay and she said that it was just a self cleaning feature.... ummm.. not sure I believe that when it happened 3 times to us.
