Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very friendly staff The staff really went out of their way to help in any way that they could. I believe the rooms had just been freshly painted, it looked nice. The food was okay. There were many choices. They had a great variety of tea as well as coffee. It was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. It is extremely close to Wake Baptist hospital if that is the reason for your visit. March 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Surprising Stay I constantly use the Holiday Inn brand and have always been extremely pleased with the facilities, service, and customer service BUT this time was surprised. The staff especially at check in was cold and unfriendly, our room had construction right next door so all we heard was beating and banging, and when I tried to schedule a second night was unable to use my Rewards Points. What good is it to be a member if you can't use your points. March 19, 2015

Lobby really nice and up-to-date. elevator a little out-dated and ran too slow. rooms were nice and pillows were comfortable, bed was a little too firm for me though. Noise outside of the room sounded too close and did interrupt some of my quite time. The internet dropped off too frequently. All these are minor issues and Overall, it was a nice hotel and the area was nice, plenty of restaurant choices. I would stay again if in the area. March 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FREQUENT VISITOR This hotel is always my choice when staying in Winston-Salem for convenience, friendly staff and many extras. On this visit, the wonderful young lady at the front desk came to help us load our car for departure as my husband and I are both physically challenged. THEN, I discovered I had left my dental retainer behind. When I called, she was more than willing to save it for me at the front desk for my son to retrieve. He is moving with his family to W-S so I look forward to many more nice trips to this hotel. My only suggestion is to spruce up the outdated furnishings in the lobby and breakfast area. The outdated decor detracts from all of the wonderful extras that the hotel has to offer....full breakfast, exercise room and outdoor swimming pool. The bedrooms are much nicer than the lobby funishings would indicate. March 10, 2015
