My mattress was extremely uncomfortable. My wife had no issues with the mattress on the other bed. Would prefer the bathroom sink to be inside the bathroom, not separate from it. October 4, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Welcoming and Attractive Inn My wife and I were touring Wisconsin last week and had booked a two night stay at a hotel in Reedburg. We were so disappointed in the hotel because of the strong musty smell of the entire building and room. I booked the 2nd night of our stay from this musty room at your Holiday Inn Express. My wife has severe health issues and we decided we could not stay a minute longer after we had been there for 30 minutes. We checked out immediately and followed GPS to your hotel. The GPS was not accurate so I called and spoke with your front desk clerk Jaque (female). She gave us directions. Upon arrival she was very friendly and helpful. We told her of our experience and that we were a day early. There was room at the inn and she gave us the same rate as our reservation . She turned a disastrous day for us into a happy one. Your facility was beautiful both inside and out and we enjoyed watching families play in the indoor pool. The breakfast both mornings was plentiful and enjoyable. One person can make a difference being the face of a brand and Jaque has lead me to include Holiday Inn Express into my future travel plans. September 24, 2014

The staff is very helpful and ready to make your stay very enjoyable. The hotel pool is great for families. There is a zero depth pool for toddlers as well as a small slide for the slightly older kids. The hot tub is also very relaxing. September 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MAMU Suite was very clean, nice and spacious. Was weird that it was cheaper than a single King or double queen and that is why I booked it. I will say that the insulation with the floor above is poor; I could hear them walking around which was a bit annoying but overall it wasn't a big deal. I would stay here again especially if I could get the same price for the suite. Very good value for the Dells area. September 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great choice in Dells This hotel is in a perfect location in Dells. It's a block away from Uno's Pizza and other waterparks. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The best part of this hotel was the indoor pools. There are two decent size indoor pools (toddler/adult) and two outdoor pools (toddler/adult). We only used the indoor pools as the outdoor ones were closed during this time of year (past labor day). The toddler pool has 4 slides which are perfect for 1 to 3 year olds. There is one large slide for adults and its quite nice. It's not your amusement park style ride but good enough to have some fun. The temperature of the water is perfect in the both pools. Hotel is not crowded like other water parks so that was a plus when you have infant/toddler. September 17, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Experience Day 1 Toilet stopped up then overflow because tank stopper not working. Water run into room below. After shower tub has 12 inches of water. Day 2 Requested help from night clerk to remove Closed Captioned from TV. Was told this was a TV Channel signal and can't be removed. Decided to wait and until morning crew came on duty. Day 3 Reported refrigerator stopped working and CC needed to be removed from TV. While at breakfast it was reported CC removed and refrigerator working. Arrived back in room late afternoon, refrigerator working but CC still on TV. Called desk and maintenance arrived with detailed instructions to remove CC Day 4 Refrigerator frozen and room not cleaned. Gave up at this point, no additional help requested. Comments: Room was to be King Executive". Sofa is behind wall separation from bedroom facing sink and refrigerator. Could not host anyone from the group traveling with us. My company averages 100-125 days a year at HI. This has got to be the most unpleasant experience I've had in the past 40 years. Will I stay at this HI again? NO! Will I recommend it to anyone? NO! Was the room worth the points and money used? NO! September 15, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good service even though it was a short stay, it was a very good hotel. I did not know it was that big. I will be back to stay again. Hope that it will be for a longer stay. The only thing was that theire was no chair at the desk to sit and work on the computer if need to do so. But overall good service. Will be back. September 6, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to Stay. We enjoyed out stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Wisconsin Dells. The room was very comfortable and clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our card key working when we first checked in. They were on it quickly and had their maintenance person come to our room right away to check the lock. I recommend this hotel as a great place to stay. September 3, 2014

Just more people than normal but the service was good. Continental breakfast was busy being a holiday weekend as well and many selections were gone and had to be asked for to be refilled. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good value.... but... Overall, a good stay as it has reasonable rates with using my points for a quick weekend family outing to the waterparks. The positive: Breakfast is always a bonus at Holiday Inn Express and this property offered a lot of choice, including some healthy options. The pool is really nice for the kiddos. Even after spending all day at the water parks, they manage to save enough energy for the hotel pool. The pool design is definitely not the usual boring rectangular slab and includes indoor and outdoor complete with slides for all ages. The cons: This property is starting to feel a bit worn and tired. The seating upholstery in the breakfast room is extremely soiled and makes you think twice before sitting. Attendants struggled to keep things filled and fresh looking, and rarely made an appearance to wipe tables. Beds were very saggy and my back was killing me after night one of three nights. During our stay the sheets were never changed and the carpet was only vacuumed once. A bit disappointing as we left a hefty tip each day. Overall, if you're in the Dells for waterpark action, it's an okay stay for the amount of time you spend in your room. As a platinum IHG member, I've stayed in a lot of properties around the country and this one is starting to show it's age. Time for a little TLC to keep things fresh. September 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel! Loved our family stay! My family of 2 adults and 2 older teenagers along with my sister-in-law and her husband all spent this year's vacation here. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. The rooms were clean, quiet and very comfortable. We love the hot breakfast except for no bacon at all during our week stay. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Upon arrival, the front desk staff got our families connecting rooms which were not originally reserved that way. All extra pillows, blankets, etc. we're delivered promptly and the staff was very helpful with dinner recommendations and directions around the area. I would definitely recommend staying here. Especially after seeing in person the size of other accommodations in the area! We will definitely stay here if back in this area again! September 2, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average Older Express This is not a bad hotel, just crying out to be updated. During the summer, it is not a great place for business travelers like myself. But I would guess that was the idea being located in the Dells. The location is the best choice available if you are heading from Chicago toward the Twin Cities. The next Holiday Inn is two hours north in Eau Clair. The breakfast was bad, one of the worst I have had at a HIE. The eggs were burnt and the sausage was dried out. I am recommending this hotel because of location and the staff. I would stay here again, but would go in knowing what I would get. September 1, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff Location in the dells is great. We've stayed here a few times over the past couple years. Parts of the motel are a little bit dated but not enough to keep us from staying there. This last time we had a little bit of a problem with the clock radio. It said 11:00p.m. and it was actually 9:00p.m. Reset the clock to the proper time and when it said 6:00a.m. we got up and started getting ready for our check out and it was actually 5:00a.m. Needless to say it was way to early to enjoy your breakfast so we had to head down the road hungry. I reported the clock to the front desk so I hope the problem got corrected for the next guests. We still enjoy the motel. Wii be back. August 25, 2014
