That had me somewhat on edge, even though the neighborhood appeared to be safe. Stay was friendly and the rooms were clean. October 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another great stay This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. My husband and I came in for the Twin Cities Marathon, and we booked the whirlpool suite. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the whirlpool was amazing - especially after running 26.2 miles! My husband loves the shower, because at 6'4" tall, he always likes to find a shower with a shower head high enough so he doesn't have to hunch over to take a shower. We love that this hotel is pet-friendly so we can bring our dog with us on our travels to Minnesota. There is a nice pet area on the side of the hotel for when nature calls them. If you're looking for a good place for dinner, Ray Js next door makes a very good burger and has some awesome dessert choices - and you can walk to it from the hotel. My husband and I always enjoy staying at this Holiday Inn Express, and we plan on staying here every time we come to St. Paul. We can't recommend it enough! October 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient and nice We intended to stay in River Falls, WI, where our child attends college, but all of the rooms were booked up, so we stayed in Woodbury. The room was very nice, the breakfast was fantastic, and the location was close to many dining and shopping locations. My only criticism, is that there needs to be a wider range of news channels offered - MSNBC was "blocked," but Fox News was everywhere. Not all of your guests are of that political persuasion. This seems to be a common problem at many hotels in the American Midwest. October 9, 2014
