Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice stay Very clean and comfortable. Very nice bed linens and a selection of pillows; both firm and soft which was great. Complimentary breakfast was better than most. The staff was friendly and helpful and when we accidentally bought a movie, it was cleared up the next morning with no problem. A good little diner right next door. July 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express - Woonsocket, RI The hotel itself was very good as is usual for any Holiday Inn, My issues was with the front desk staff. The woman didn't not seem to know her job or even care. She puit a hold on my credit card for more than the full amount of my stay at check in. I have never had this happen at any other Holiday Inn, usually it is a $50 hold at most until the end of the stay when all room charges are then charged to my card. WhenI questioned her about this she got snippy and told me that's how its done and could not explain what the extra charges were for and that they would "probably" come off at the end of my stay. She was not helpful at all to me or any of the other guests checking in. July 28, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Night shift staff We had left our phone charger in a previous hotel. The night shift staff were very helpful in that they let us use a charger they had on hand, writing down our name and room number, so that my husband and I would be able to keep in contact the next day as my husband had to work and I needed to know when he would be finished for me to pick him up. I am sure most hotels would not have done this! I really appreciated them!!!! They were a life saver!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!! July 27, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Attention to service. As a platinum member I stay at many HIE's. This one I found clean and everything you would expect at an HIE. The issues I have are with service.. when I arrived, my request for room type were not honored or checked against the reservation or my online profile. They were sold out so there was nothing for the desk to do but to say they were sorry. Second, for a hotel with 5 floors, only one ice machine was working and none of the drink machines were working. Unless I'm mistaken, hotels are in the service industry.... Attention needs to be paid to this.. July 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Service Customer service was great Sam and Val at the front desk were a pleasure to deal with and handled my room issues promptly,(just beware there are renovations being done on the forth floor) The front office manager was a little rude at first cause she seemed to have gone out of her way to make sure i knew there was no smoking in the hotel before i even finished checking in and felt judged for having tattoos and being from New York / New Jersey. other than that everyone else at the hotel was great. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by bysa one of front desk staff was very rude about my inquiry of room not being cleaned. other staff on front desk were helpful though with local attractions and suggestions. hotel hosted soccer and lacrosse teams per a contract, but seemed very put out and upset kids were in the hotel. we had to stay there so we thought we would have a hotel that were friendly to kids. other parents mentioned how surly she was to them. breakfast was great, cleaning staff was great. many choices for breakfast and very good. They were hosting soccer teams and lacrosse teams that HAD to stay there due to a contract, yet they seemed to be put out we were there. One of front desk employee was not friendly. Our room was skipped by mistake and not cleaned, but manager fixed it quickly. Front desk attendant told me i have to request it to be cleaned, which manager said was wrong. The cleaning staff did well and breakfast was very good. Comfortable beds and pillows. July 2, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No Problems Nice hotel. Seems like recently remodeled, clean rooms. Mine had a full couch (pull out bed). Nice breakfast downstairs in the morning. Staff at front desk is very friendly and helpfull. There is a small coffee pot in the room as well. I had no complaints, would stay again if the opportunity comes up. June 16, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hot room and Poor internet. The thermostat is based on movement in the room. If you aren't moving in the room, the air conditioner will not turn on. The staff does not have the required materials to reprogram the thermostat. If you like sleeping in a 72º F room, this is not the hotel to stay at. Your room will average 75º F - 80º F unless you are constantly moving about the room (in front of the movement sensor). The internet is slower than a 3G wireless phone as well. June 16, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A customer whom stays alot SHOULD be taken a little More Care of I was staying as a rewards night and as soon as I got to the front desk there was an problem with my check-in, Due to one of there Policies. I realize they have Policies for a Reason, and I am Not asking for the policies to be forgotten. What I do expect though Is, when You are a Platinum Elite member, and stay as much as I do and Have a Great reputation with IHG, I Really DO believe in business, sometimes a case by case basis would be beneficial to figure out a problem to the customers satisfaction. Then When I had to figure out this on my own and walked away, apparently, the Sales Mangr was listening behind the wall and never even came out to address me Until I walked to the doors and then she made a Statement, I was told, to the other employee that would of Really Made it Harder for me to check-in and solve my problem. I am a little insulted that she came out after just listening to the conversation, and Tried to make a situation MORE difficult for me. She never took the time to Know who I was, What type of customer I am, and How a problem such as mine Could be handled differently. In Business, I know there HAS to be times when a case by case basis should be taken into account. This definitely, should of been one of those times. Also In business, I know It Should NOT be the sales Mangr's job or any employees job to Try to make a Frequent Guest's problem ANY Worse. I am just glad I WAS ABLE to figure it out, On My Own, or I would of lost my points I put for this night. * MEEGAN AT FRONT DESK WAS THE ONLY PERSON I COULD RELATE TO*. June 9, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Loud Neighbors/Staff is Stuck Up Had loud neighbors around 2am, which hotel staff confronted, but that of course did not solve the problem. Anytime I had a question or comment for any of the staff they seemed to have a tone of "talking down" to me. Guess I'm used to good old fashioned Southern Hospitality. I have no plans to ever travel back to this area or if I have to, I will never stay here again. May 31, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by some things need to be changd a little to make your hotel better Your breakfasts end too early. They are over at 9:30 and they start cleaning up too early. Our phone was broken and our bathroom door would not stay open. We could have complained but we were beside ourselves with grief. My mother-in-law passed away. You have a nice hotel but there are a few things that you could do to make it better. Extend your breakfast hours, your pillows are hard as rocks, I have to bring my own pillow with me and that would be really hard to do when flying. You could put out two suitcase tables,usually there are two people staying in a room., or have some extra available by request. March 31, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasantly surprised I had lived in Woonsocket for many years, but have been away for many more. There was no hotel in this location when we left the area. I have to admit that this location was chosen mainly because of its location, which provided a central "base" for our stay. We were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful, guiding us to find the "local" foods that we don't get living in Florida. The breakfast each morning was great as well. If there was one little area of disappointment, it was not the hotel's fault, rather the Cox cable company - TV reception was not very good. I definitely would recommend this hotel location to anyone looking to stay in that area. January 1, 2014
