Breakfast again was missing items and again it was cold. This time the fitness center was missing some safety items so there was no work out chances for 4 days.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sausage Breakfast disappointment
I have stayed at this location more than once and the quality of the breakfast is far below other Holiday Inn Express locations. Often the items are cold, out of stock or beyond day old in quality. Also the fitness center has been closed more than once on different trips in. Finally the business center is EXTREMELY SLOW and marginal on being able to print airline boarding passes in a timely manner.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rob805 New Hotel
This seemed to be a brand new hotel. The room was large, clean & comfortable. This is the second "new" style HIE that my wife & I have stayed in recently. We really like the new decor & vibrant colors. I hope there are more new / remodeled properties soon. They are very nice. The cont. breakfast was very good. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

This was a very nice property with a very nice, helpful staff. I had never travelled with a dog before but came to learn quickly that NOT ALL hotel properties take dogs and they each charge a different fee for your animal. We left another Holiday Inn property down the road because they wanted $50 for the dog while this one wanted $25. I will do more research in the future but its hard when road tripping it to know where you will end up at night.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Room not ADA compliant
Person with Multiple Sclerosis and is a wheel chair. I had to lift her ONTO the bed and then move her legs onto the bed which aggrivated her condition. The bed is NOT ADA compliant and we had to find another hotel with a lower bed for her to stay. I basically paid twice the price for the night.
The refrigerator didn't get cold. Adjusting the temperature control didn't work. Leftover food was spoiled.
There is no ice machine on the first floor. We had to go to the second floor when we needed ice.
The bread was very stale or hard from sitting out multiple days.
Of the 5 Holiday Inn Expresses I stayed at in the last year months, this one rates 4 out of 5. Number 5 is in South Carolina. The best HIE I've found is in Utica, NY on Wells Avenue. Very nice.

This morning I go to sit at a table that I already had my coffee and paper at. A family member I presume (they were all Idian naionality) of the staff sets his stuff on the same table. I asked if he was going to sit there and none of the three replied, but just looked at me like I said something wrong. No response. The three of them gathered at the pancake machine to see if they can get it to work. sticky note was finally put on it reading broken. The male kitchen help was in his boxer shorts, t-shirt and flip flops. It looks like they must all live in this hotel. The other member (a well dressed man) pulls a hard boiled egg out of the egg tray with his hands after touching 2 other eggs and then putting them back. He must have not liked the looks of those two. I was going to have one of them until that happened. None of the other two acted like it was a big deal. I have a problem with other people touching my food, then putting it back. He was dress like he was going to wallstreet. I think he lives here. I see him alot during my other stays. These people aren't really professional looking at all, much less dress like they even work here. All they had out were the cheese filled eggs, no meat today. Must be a slow week and they don't need to please the people that are here this week I guess. This looks like a family ran hotel and not your typical Holiday Inn. I stay at this location at least 9 times a year for the week times, but will be going to a differant hotel on future visits.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by AccidentalTourist Awful Bed, Wacky TV, Great Staff
When I stay in a hotel, I only need two things- a comfortable bed and nice TV. This hotel had neither one. The bed was as hard as a rock and the TV was difficult to operate and the picture was awful. We kept hearing the sound of water from the room above us and the hallways were extremely hot. The staff however was outstanding and very helpful. When I commented about how hard bed was and how the hotel was totally different from the one we stayed at the previous night, they explained that each hotel is independently owned and operated and therefore things will vary from one to the other. Because of this I will be reluctant to stay at Holiday Inn Express in the future.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PeterA Nice property
This is a new facility and offers a full range of services. I was impressed with:
+ the contemporary design, not the usual "motel standard"
+ good staff services
+ the exclusive use of the laundry room, a bit expensive but worth it for guaranteed time with the machines
+ good breakfast selections
+ reasonably priced for a Holiday Inn Express (hope they keep it)
+ much of the seating area in the breakfast area looks like it is designed for an evening bar or other activities. Would be much better to replace it with the standard four person tables.

We booked a King suite on line about a week before our check-in; at the time we checked in the individual on duty at the desk was on the phone and acted like he was too busy to handle our checkin. When we went to our room it was a double queen, not a king suite that had been confirmed on line. I returned to the desk and found the person still on the phone, laughing and cutting up like a teenager. He was more interested in his phone call than resolving a customer complaint. I checked other Holiday Inn's in the area and there were no King suites available, so we had to take the queen suite.
After getting settled in the room, I sat down at the desk to do some work but found there were not bulbs in the lamp on the desk. The next morning I went to the front desk to get bulbs and was told I would have to wait until housekeeping came in for the bulbs. Got them about 30 minutes later.
The hotel is rather new but poorly maintained. The interior and carpet in the elevator was dirty and didn't appear to have been vacuumed in several days. Overall our stay here was average at best. This is one hotel I will not even consider staying at again or reccommending to anyone.
