Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service and attention We had to go to Jax for work with no notice. We showed up with no reservations hot and tired from work. Check in was easy, they even helped me find my priority ckub number. This is yet another great HIX. Thers a great selection for breakfast, check out the pancakes. The lady on the friont desk is excellent. Very helpful and friendly. March 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Comfortable This is the third year we stayed at this Holiday Inn while attending the Amelia Island Concours. Never had any problems with check-in, room cleanliness, or staff and service. The ladies who work in the breakfast area are especially friendly and helpful. It would be nice if there were more selections for breakfast but that's a corporate issue and not something that can be solved on a local inn level. When we inquired as to a lunch/dinner location the front desk directed us to Murry's Grill.....fantastic!!!! Try the MurryBurger. All in all, this Holiday Inn is well worth the stay. March 12, 2013

During check in the lady at the front desk was very business like and not cheerful for some reason. I found this very different from our other Holiday Inn Express stays. February 22, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by heading south! Being a Priority Club Platimum Member...we were not offered an upgrade as we usually are and not as much as a complimentary bottle of water. Upon checking out they could not even find us listed as being a guest . . . I found this rather odd, as we travel frequently and have never had this experience...not the most friendly staff . . . had to request towels as there were none in our room! January 10, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by good location Driving south this was a great location before our final destination. Right off route 95, near Amelia Island. Rooms and service were fine and the breakfast choices were plentiful. Good appearance and friendly staff. Only con was no priority amenity, ie water etc. There should be a uniform policy as opposed to some do and some don't. For those that do not it is a con, which could be easily corrected.. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disapppointed in breakfast I choose Holiday Inn Express because of the hot breakfast offered. I was disappointed when they passed off sausage gravy as a "meat." I believe that is the second time that has happened to me here. Other Inns offer at least bacon or sausage for breakfast--in fact the one I stayed at the night before in Hope Mills, N.C. had both, plus a cheese omelet. By saving a few bucks you've lost a client at this place. October 23, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and comfortable room. We have stayed at this HIExp many times and have enjoyed it each time. Compared to other hotels we have stayed at with much higher rates, this one exceeded our expectations and was great. The staff was accomodating and knowledgeable. Breakfast was great. We recently stayed in Florence for a much higher rate and this facility was much better. A good valued. October 11, 2012
