The property and rooms are above average clean, beds are comfortable, the internet is really fast, the people are nice and gave good recommendations on where to eat. It's actually located in Zachary which is about 10 miles north of downtown Baton Rouge but you access Baton Rouge on Interstate 110 which is SOO much better than Interstate 10. You have to drive through Baker to access I 110 and Baker is proud of their photo speed tickets so be careful when you drive through Baker.

This Holiday Inn Express is beginning to show its age. The walls seem thin as you can hear guests and tvs from other rooms. The elevator needs attention as it makes peculiar noises. The floors really should never have been waxed as it is spotty in many areas. These tiles would look better without wax. Even with the deficiencies mentioned, this hotel is still comfortable and the breakfast as well as staff is above average.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Eugeneious Could have been alot better
The main reason for the bad rating is... I got a call to the room phone at 3:25 AM. by the time I woke up and got to the phone it quit ringing. Then 2 minutes later it rang again,
I was awake and answered it , there was no one there. I was so mad I left the phone off the hook. Could not get back to sleep. May have not been the hotels fault. I don't know.
