I've stayed at this hotel several times before, always for a vacation fishing trip. This property was ok, but much too expensive, for what it is. Since there is really no competition, I'll probably stay there again.

While in Zapata on business or pleasure, the Holiday inn Express is an excellent place to rest and recharge. The staff is friendly and courteous, the public areas are clean and welcoming, rooms are clean and well maintained. Overall a super place to stay either for work or pleasure.

This is by far the best hotel in Zapata. The rooms were very clean, staff was friendly, and the facility overall was well kept. This hotel even has a happy hour once a week with food and refreshments.
I would totally stay here again!

HIE is by far the best place to stay when visiting Zapata. Mr. Gonzalez, the general manager, and his staff are always courteous and flexible and always deliver the highest caliber of customer service. The rooms and beds are great. The hotel is always clean. I had stayed here in the past and the hotel was OK. The quality of everything has greatly improved since Mr. Gonzalez came on board.
