The room was smelly, the hotel staff at reception and restaurant spoke very poor English, after a long tired day when i check in at hotel at night, i expect to have a swift check in and find my bed, but it was tiring to talk to staff due to communication problem and confirm on my next day flight shuttle, thanks to a gentlemen who was another guest staying at hotel, who helped me at reception. The restaurant only had buffet option, no ala carte. At night i ran out of drinking water (2 bottles) in my room, and i asked for 2 more bottles, it's a general requirement and every hotel i have stayed so far has always provided it free of cost, but the hotel asked me to pay for it. They delivered 2 more bottles to my room with a charge of 5 CNY/bottle. I was in need, so i had to take it. Morning breakfast was basic but ok for a quick breakfast, the only good thing was the shuttle to airport. If not for airport location, the stay here was unpleasant otherwise. I hope IHG stands for it's brand and back them up to improve overall management and quality of service.
