The rooms were very clean, quiet and spacious.
Beds were comfortable.
Breakfast had variety and was quite good.
The only negative- breakfast room too small.

The hotel is under renovations, and we heard an odd buzzing sound starting at about 6:30 am on a Sunday! We were on the 2nd floor! That seemed like a little bit much and it was annoying. Staff was courteous and was able to help me access my Rewards account. One staff member sent us in the wrong direction for the pool, that was odd! All common areas and the room were very clean. Lots of outlets and charging stations in the room which was wonderful, but no where to store our unpacked clothes except a very small closet.

The hotel is under construction; great facility; however, rooms should not be assigned on the floors that the construction is going on. There is dust and construction materials everywhere you go. The workers start at 7AM and outside the hotel you have to be careful where you park as there is construction vehicles and equipment taking up most of the lot.

We generally make the Holiday Inn Express one of our preferred choices when we travel. We only needed a room for one night and booked and paid in advance. If we had known there was as much disruption due to remodeling we would have considered another option at a different location. The room was newly remodeled and clean and comfortable. The halls, and area where breakfast was served left a lot to be desired. The construction crews were busy at work at 7:00a.m. although postings said they wouldn't start until 8:00. Bottom line is we had to rise early and this didn't bother us but, the overall value for the cost wasn't there.

The hotel was undergoing renovations during this stay so the noise level during the day was high but not unexpected or a hinderance to our stay. The space around, particularly at the bottom of the door to hall, was quite large allowing for too much noise to enter the room.
A barn door is the new style of door for the bathroom, however, this style doesn't provide much of a sound barrier. Also there weren't any hooks or bars to hang towels or robes in the bathroom. Because there was so much reno work going on, I assume that these details will be attended to.
The staff, from the groundskeeper to the breakfast server to the maintenance crew to the front desk were all very friendly and helpful.

I've stayed in this hotel about 50 times inn he last 4 years -- and this is the worst night's sleep I've ever had! There is extensive remodeling going on, and I was in a room that was recently completed, but I swear they have put up thinner walls and doors because there was so much noise during the night that sleep was impossible.
Loved this hotel in the past -- I hope this was just an "off night" and that it gets better!!
