Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value Once a year I attend the same convention and the organizers always offer discounted hotel rooms at a competitor's venues. I usually look these over and ultimately conclude that HIE is the best value and convenience for a hotel in the vicinity of downtown Boston. The shuttle service makes getting to downtown and the convention a snap, and the proximity of the the subway to the hotel makes getting back to the hotel easy at any hour. Parking is free, not "discounted". The free breakfast while predictable, gives me a great start without loosing time in the morning. The rooms are well equipped and the hotel is compact so getting to the "front door" fast and convenient. November 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, fantastic staff Whether you need to get in to town or want to drive out, this hotel is in a fantastic location for both. Rooms are of a good size and have good amenities; breakfast is plentiful and Miranda is excellent at making sure that everything is well stocked. All the guests love her. It's great that tea/coffee/juice is available all day. Lounge areas good and comfortable; mini gym and laundry room tucked away. On reception both Gina and Carol make you feel like part of the family. Carol was like that lovely pair of slippers that you crave after a long hard day - so full of warmth, welcome and her smile is like a big hug. November 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel outside center of Boston with easy access to public transportation I stayed 3 nights at the HI Express Boston for a business trip. There was something unusual going on in Boston, as hotel prices were very high at the time throughout the city. The Holiday Inn provided an excellent price-to-value ratio with its clean and comfortable room, included breakfast, reasonably-priced airport transportation, and small, but sufficient gym. For a foreign visitor to the USA, also the proximity of a Target store and a few specialty stores, along with a couple of reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance were a definite plus. HI Express breakfast is standard, but as it is always included, it's a nice way to start the day, in particularly for a business traveler with no possibility to expense meals. The hotel is also within walking distance to the Andrew station on the red line of the Boston subway system. The station is on the other side of the freeway, but there is a bridge right next to the hotel leading to the station, which is only one block away. November 20, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Helpful staff. Good shuttle service We enjoyed our short stay. Shuttle to the cruiseport and 2 weeks later, shuttle back from Logan. Quick and easy. No issues. Food variety was perfect. We would definitely use HIX again. November 8, 2015
