Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by very noisy stay this time this was a noisy stay seems like they were having a party in the hall way and being in the room next to the elevator did not help. the internet did not work until the morning when I got ready to leave. the food was ok but the portion were small making for an interesting turn of events as individual returned to get more of the small bacon and water down sausage gravy for the biscuits. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Experience with Fire Alarm System My stay at this property was Horrible!! The first night (Friday night, 5/29) was straightforward enough. But Saturday, 5/30 was Utterly Ridiculous!!! Not long after my mother and I finally got in our beds the fire alarm shrieked to life and scared us half to death!!! We jumped out of bed, got partially dressed and walked down the stairs as fast as my mom’s bad knees would allow. When we got outside we stood there for approx. 10 mins waiting for the alarm to stop. Then we cautiously eased back inside because still, no hotel official had come out to explain what was happening, was the fire extinguished? What was the issue and was it resolved? My mother, who has very bad knees, had to walk up both flights of stairs to get back to the room. This was very, very exhausting & painful for her! She refused to take the elevator because of the fear of getting trapped in the elevator if there was a fire, which we were still unclear about. And no sooner than we had settled into the room that another alarm sounded!! I called downstairs and was told there was a malfunctioning sensor in the laundry room and that the fire dept. was on their way to shut-off the alarm. So we didn’t get out of the room this time. I don’t know if the fire dept. ever came. But I do know that the alarm blasted +20 more times throughout the night!! Neither of us got any sort of restful sleep!! It was excruciating!! And to add insult to injury, a manager was not on duty to check out the guests and offer any sort of explanation or apology; who does that?!?!?! I would expect this sort of service & experience from a non-descript motor inn, but certainly not a globally recognized Holiday Inn!! And definitely not a brand with whom I’m a long-standing member of their customer loyalty program!!! To say I am highly disgusted is only the start of my fury!!! June 13, 2015

That is the way that I remember Cedar Hill, cause I used to live there for half my life and to come back home and still the polite people there in your Hotel was wonderful. I know when I come back to visit again, I will be staying there. Everything was so clean and smelled better. Kept up the great job. June 7, 2015
