When I enter a hotel , I am usually tired and want to get in with the least amount of trouble. I do not care what floor I am assigned. I do care how far the room is from the elevator. The clerk listen and complied to all wishes and made be feel that he cared.

Was a very nice room.
EXCELLENT internet speed and ease of use.
Breakfast better than most.
Very Comfortable bed.
Pillows left much to be desired, unfortunately. Just old, I think.
Easy interstate access. Close to mall and shopping centers.

Great rooms are a good thing to have but when the staff is friendly, receptive and professional as this, well it takes it to a higher level.

Travel all over the country and for the money hard to compare to any other Hotel. This is my choice always for Harlingen. Every Holiday inn Express is not the same. I do see them making changes to all other locations. This is a well run Hotel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by KMcCoy33 Nice Location
The location of the hotel is great. It is near the highway, close to restaurants, Bass Pro, and Sam's.
The hotel was clean and a nice place to stay for our quick overnight.
The best - the luggage carts. Seems crazy, but having nice luggage carts make bringing in all the stuff for the kids much easier. These had larger, rubber tires which made for a much quicker transport.
The worst - breakfast. We had to stick to bagels, toast, and other bread products as the eggs and sausage were microwave type items that tasted as though they had been reheated a few too many times. Whether or not that is the case, I don't know. They just didn't taste right. Also, only one high chair available. For family with two kids, it's an immediate problem even if it is available. For us, another family had already gotten it so we were left trying to hold two kids on our laps.
