Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay HIE Bradenton East! I had a wonderful stay at the HIE and Suites Brandenton East-Lakewood Ranch. I was greeted by Tyler and his customer service was just superb. Made me feel very welcome at this hotel. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. I appreciated that most of all. I had a good nights sleep as the bed was comfortable as well. I also felt relatively safe there as well. The breakfast was ok...lots of variety with eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal, yogurt, toast, biscuits, juice and coffee. I wasn't too fond of the eggs...maybe they were powdered...I'm not sure but they were not my favorite but there was such a variety I did find something good to fill me up and start my day. The cinnamon rolls were very good. The juices from the machine were not cold enough. Would recommend having some ice nearby just in case. Overall I had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back to this hotel. Thank you so much for understanding the importance of a CLEAN ROOM/BATHROOM. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded my expectation The property is very clean, room was clean, spacious. Bathroom shower has very nice showerhead and water pressure. Beds offered selection of pillow firmness. Breakfast was great - hot and cold items - plenty of offerings. Room was quiet. Only downfall was we could not get our internet working - but used the business area offered instead. November 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Room for the money Very large rooms (more like a suite) with lots of closet and drawer space. Bathroom nice size with shelves for necessary items. That's rare in most hotels. The mattress was perfect for us and we got some good nights sleep. The breakfast was pretty good too. Fitness center is small but adequate for a quick workout. Definitely worth the money. We would look for another Holiday Inn Express when we travel. November 11, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointed! Our whole stay was very disappointing! I felt that the hotel was understaffed! When we arrived at midnight to our room, the room door was unlocked... We felt a bit uneasy then as my daughter is getting ready to take a shower, we notice that there are no shampoos or soaps whatsoever! I tried to call the front desk no one answered, I put my shoes back on and go downstairs to find the front desk was not manned! I waited a few minutes until the attendant came back and I asked for the stuff. The next day, there were quite a few things missing at breakfast (for ex only water was coming out from the orange juice dispenser) and no one was there to be asked except the front desk person who was checking in and out people and answering the phone and could not leave the front desk. When we came back later that day, my daughter's bed was not made and we did not know why. The next day, there was no coffee at breakfast! And no paper! And of course some supplies were missing! On the day we were to check out there was no receipt under my door. When I asked for one it took them 15 min to print one because again only one person was handling several jobs! On top of that the carpet in our room was all stained and the blackout curtains had holes in them! Very bad experience all around! November 11, 2015
