The hotel was clean, the rooms were clean and I really liked having a microwave and mini fridge in the room. The staff was friendly and I cannot think of any negatives about my stay at this hotel.

There are four designated smoking rooms on the second floor, which are a problem with smoke entering the hallway and rooms. I thought the property was non-smoking.

Great Place to stay! Highly recommended if you are in the area of Lake Livingston. There is a nice State Park just south of the Hotel.

Only problem was a shower head that dribbled water. Needs to be replaced.

The hotel was very easy to locate. The staff was very helpful. We were in town for a seminar for three days so we did not spend much time at hotel except to sleep.

I was a little confused at check-in; I had made a reservation for 2 rooms using my rewards points, and the reservation clearly reflected reward points only, with no other charges or fees. When we checked in we were exhausted and just wanted to get into the room. The attendant said something about there being a $25 per room charge (total of $50 charged to my credit card). I said that to my understanding these were both reward-night only reservations made online. She said there'd still be a $25 per room charge. Being exhausted I just let it go; whatever it took to get us in the rooms so we could get some rest. I don't mind so much about the amount she charged; what bothers me is that I had already made the reservations and there was no mention of a charge disclosed at that time; it was for reward points only. That bothered me. A lot.
