Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good service, high standards This hotel met all my expectations for a Holiday Inn Express. The location was clean and tidy. My first room was a little noisy (right next to the elevator) and the excellent front desk staff promptly changed my reservation to a new room. Good breakfast, overall enjoyable stay. May 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice and clean hotel I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the last several years while visiting my kids at Texas Tech University. The cleaning staff was extremely friendly and did a good job. The front desk was not as professional or friendly as they have been in the past, but were adequate. Although I am not sure that at least one of them really knew what she was doing. Overall though, this is a nice hotel, kept clean, and not too far from campus, but pretty close to many of the restaurants in town. Good value for the money, and usually very quiet. May 18, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by What We Expected We travel for business all year and typically choose Holiday Inn locations due to their consistency and availability. Lubbock West was no different and we had a great stay with a comfortable bed, clean room and the basic amenities we expected. We did not have a chance to try the breakfast as we prefer organic items and there were no options for us but we didn't expect any of those choices. We would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area. May 17, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff service Great hotel. The rooms were very clean and the bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. The food was great and access to coffee in the dining room 24-7 was terrific. I felt as if the night clerk Carlos went out of his way to give us great service and with our nerves being fraught from the storm this helped immensely. May 15, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel, policies are Bad I am an IHG Gold member, however this hotel would not give me a reception goodie bag as their policy only gives that reward to Platinum members. I've stayed with IHG hotels across the country and have never had a front desk representative tell me that it was to the specific locations discretion as to what level of member to reward with a reception bag. This along with the rate this particular weekend is why my stay wasn't absolutely perfect!! May 14, 2015
