My husband and two children (older ones - aged 16 and 21!) stayed here for 3 nights en route from Malaga (southern Spain) to the UK. We decided to stop for a few nights so we could spend a couple of days exploring Madrid and the surrounding area. It's quite a long way out of Madrid but this suited us. It was extremely hot (36 degrees) but the air conditioning just about coped with it (the children's room was better than ours). Finding it with the Sat Nav wasn't too bad but it didn't work with the address on the confirmation letter - we needed to miss out 'Esquina' and put in 'Calle de la Metalurgia'. It would also have been helpful if the instructions on the website - after 'The Hotel is 400m on the right' - had added, 'after which, turn right at the next roundabout, then right, and right again'. There was an underground car park which we didn't notice until the end, but I presume you would have to pay for this (there are parking spaces outside).
Once inside, it was lovely and cool with the air conditioning. The Reception is upstairs one level. We were relieved that the receptionist spoke English (we try our best but Spanish is not our 'forte'!). Very efficient check-in. Room was clean, furniture was 'up together'.
I was surprised that the broken toilet seat in our bathroom hadn't been noticed by the cleaners, but having mentioned it the next morning, it was replaced by the time we arrived back at the hotel in the evening. One of the staff on the desk was very helpful in giving us advice about driving into Madrid and where to park etc. We were told about the bus stop outside where you could catch a bus straight to the Real Madrid stadium (probably 45 mins?). Across the footbridge and to the left is a shopping complex (Toys R Us, Decathlon (large outdoors/sports shop), plus various other large shops. Also a Buffalo Grill which is fairly reasonably priced (around 15 Euros for a basic 3 course meal
