My colleague and I both got rooms on the 5th floor and both of us did not enjoy our one night stay. I arrived around 11:30pm and went to my room. All look fine at first glance. I was ready to brush my teeth, watch a little tv, and go to sleep. Well, I noticed in the bathroom that the cleaner had re-hung a towel that was obviously used, the tv did not turn on, the phone next to the bed did not work, and the clock was unplugged.
So since there was only the receptionist at the desk and I didn't want to wait an hour for her to find someone to come up and figure out what was wrong, I just chalked it up as a loss and decided to go to sleep. Before I went to bed, I called the front desk on the other phone in the room and asked for a 7:30am wake up call.
Well, the hotel is located right along the highway and instead of counting sheep to go to sleep, I was counting cars driving down the highway. The windows are paper thin.
Finally, to add insult to injury, I didn't receive my 7:30am wake up call. Fortunately, I decided to set my phone alarm as I wasn't going to put my trust in a hotel that can't even give me clean towels.

I was traveling with my children. I knew we were going to have a lot of down time and I wanted them to be entertained. It was cold outside so I went out of my way to find an IHG hotel with an indoor pool. We booked two nights at this hotel (20 miles from the event we were in town for) As soon as we checked in, we headed straight to the pool......which was closed for maintenance. It was drained and being painted. By that time it was too late to cancel for either nights without getting charged for the two nights. To make things worse, it's right on the highway and all you can hear all night is the sound of the highway. When it was shower time we only had two wash rags in the room so we went to the front desk to ask for more and we were told that they were out of them. Worst IHG hotel I have ever stayed in to date. I understand the pool needs maintenance but make your website reflect that. Some people book a hotel just for the pool!

I think this hotel did not meet the standard of IHG in any expect especially cleanliness.Dose IHG monitor??
