The hotel is one of my favorites, however, there are lots of soldiers and police inside, in fact, when I arrived I had to show my reservation number to them, when my family and I went to the pool, there were some soldiers on the side of it with their weapons, and some of them go and some of them come from one place to other, this was not a good experience.

On the 17 TH. of July I made a online reservation to spend the night at this motel.
I was required to make this commitment 8 days in advance.
I traveled all night and all day from the Mexican state of Jalisco but when I checked in I was told that they were shutting off the electricity from midnight till 4 A.M for maintenance and there would be no air conditioning, ( it was 106 deg. at the time ) no water for showers or toilet and they hoped it wouldn't be any inconvenience.
It was to late to cancel the room and I was going to have to pay for it since I didn't cancel it earlier.
I had no way to try to reserving another room on the American side of the border.
I have a serious case of sleep apnea and I am required to use a C-pap machine which I can't use without electricity.
So to make a long story short I was required to check in, shower, get 2 hours sleep and leave.
Since I was required to get the reservation 8 days in advance why couldn't you people have the common courtesy to inform me in advance about shutting off the electricity???
I promise you I won't stay at this or any other Holiday Inn again.
You do not need to apologize since it would be hollow.
