As stated earlier in the interview, General Manager Sheldon Green made our stay very enjoyable.. He went out of his way to take pictures, recommend eating establisments, give directions and help resolve a missed toll issue. He and the rest of his staff were very friendly

I brought my wife and 7 week old son down to the not so pretty city of Pearland. The first night we arrived late and went straight to bed but the reception asked if we would like to upgrade to the King Suite with a baby crib for the second night at the same price based on status. Very kind gesture and comfortable room. I will certainly stay here again when I come for business.

I always stay here when i'm in the area. The staff is always great! I had a busniess meeting canceled so i arrived well before check in time, but a room was ready so they let me have it. It was warm ,that day so that was very accomidating & greatly apprieciated. Had a flight out the next morning so i wasn't able to take advantage of that, but, area was clean & nice.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. We would stay there again and recommend it to others.
Our room was large, clean and ultra comfortable. Our maid did forget some basic items one morning, but overall the room service was fine.
The weekend breakfast scene was chaotic and messy. Inadequate seating space, only one attendant on a holiday weekend, and food not fully warmed. However, the food was good with a nice variety and changes day to day. Pancake machine did not provide quality pancakes. Ditch it for the more common Belgium waffle machine.
Two major areas for improvement:
1 - The hallway cleaning material (for carpet?) stunk. Perhaps the cleaning material? While the common areas were clean, the small was very distasteful.
2 - The front desk people were helpful when approached, but they did not make an effort to greet guests or be friendly. With multiple coming and going during a 4 day stay, only once (1) did anyone on the desk greet us, speak to us, or even look up from their electronic gadgets. What was on the computer and phone screens were apparently much more important than being positive ambassadors for IHG. Since it was all but one of the desk people over all shifts and several days, one must assume it is a non friendly culture for this particular HIE. And, yes. I did compliment that one nice young man who wished us a 'good day.'
