served the purpose very well...overall ambiance was sterile and "corporate" but ok...breakfast tended to have a "synthetic" quality, but served its purpose...;the bed was great, room comfy, good ac, a bonus was the view

I could tell your property was either new or had just gone thru a total renovation. While the interior finishes are very nice the installation and "craftsmanship" is the worst I think I have ever seen in my 30 years in the business. On top of that the housekeeping was equally poor and all those previously mentioned nice finishes will have a VERY short lifespan if it doesn't improve!
I was not able to finish my morning shower because I stepped on a piece of glass I could not see because of the dark tile and I didn't want to take the chance of stepping on any more. I was able to get the one piece out and fortunately had some medicated band aids in my bag and have not had any further problems since. I did tell the FOM on my way out about what happened but unfortunately have not heard from any one else since!
There were other problems I encountered and will discuss them should any bother to call.

I have stayed at two holiday inn express and one holiday inn this past month all was excellent, food was very good. Pool water at fayetville was cloudy, Peekskill prices was very pricey on the weekends. Loved the soft pillows. My last three stays this month was at Peekskill, fayetville and Wilson I give all 3 stays a (9).
