Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff Friendly staff and nice and convenient for work. But the wifi was out that day and would not be back up and running until the next day "maybe". I stayed here for business and because of the wifi issue I lost a lot of time that I had to make up the next night. June 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst HIE hotel I've ever stayed at I've always been a loyal HIE customer. I've stayed at alot of HIE hotels across the country and this hotel is by far the worst HIE I've ever stayed in. Our experience with this hotel started out calling the front desk to ask for directions in how to get to the hotel because google map could not direct us to it and kept giving us the wrong place with the proper addressed typed in. Zydenko at the front desk answered and could not give us directions. She kept repeating the address of the hotel as a means of directions which we already had. We told her what intersection we were at and we could see Embassy Crossing Plaza across from us which later on turned out to be only 5 minutes away from the hotel. She finished off her directions to us by simply stating that she's not familiar with the area. To make matters worst, once we checked in and were unpacking, another guest at the hotel opens up our door. To both of our surprise, we were given the same room. A few minutes later, we get a call from Zydenko letting us know that we needed to move rooms since the room we were at was originally given to the guests who walked in the room we were in. Then a few minutes later we get another call from Zydenko letting us know that we can stay at the room we were at as if that was a huge favor for us on her part. With all this mess, we recieved no extra accommodations for the above incidents, no upgrade of rooms, no extra clean towels, no cookies, no APOLOGIES!!!! As soon as we thought the day couldn't get any worst, we were greeted by a roach in the bathroom. I always thought that HIE were much better hotels but after staying at this hotel, it has surely change my point of view for the worst. I sure hope that this is not the same experience I'll have in the near future if I give HIE another try and continue to be a loyal customer. June 28, 2015

I want to personally thank the housekeeping staff and front desk staff for helping me when I called five days after our stay at this Holiday Inn in Port Richey. My husband and I were traveling across the country for 10 days and staying in a number of hotels during this time period. Upon returning home and unpacking, I realized I had left a number of clothes items in one of the dresser drawers in the room we had for four nights while in Port Richey. When I called the front desk, they took all my information and assured me the head housekeeper would give me a call the following day and let me know if my items had been found. The head housekeeper returned my call and told me my items were there. The hotel staff was so helpful in assisting me by boxing up my items and putting me in touch with a Goin' Postal service that would pick up my box and ship it to me! I am so grateful to everyone on the staff who helped collect, box and return my items to me! Everyone was so kind, understanding and supportive on the phone with me and I want to thank everyone for their kindness, professionalism and integrity!!! I am a very grateful guest! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing stay and friendly caring staff The manager Kim was very helpful and friendly. She went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast staff remembered me from my previous stay and was very helpful along with not rushing us to finish eating even though it was past breakfast time. My room was very clean and Kim made sure I had the downstairs roll in shower executive suite that I needed due to my disability. Kim has a great outgoing personality and took great care of me during my stay. I am very grateful to her and the breakfast staff for all they did for us. The beds are very comfortable and hotel was so peaceful I didn't want to leave. June 10, 2015
