Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 99% Good I was not too crazy about this hotel from the exterior; but upon entering the small lobby I smelled cookies.:-) The room was comfortable and really clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. The beds were comfortable. Sleep is a wonderful thing. The one and only drawback was the bed frame which is larger than the mattress. My daughter, myself and a visitor all have bruises on our shins. Overall a good experience for our needs. November 20, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Thought it would be better Unfortunately, we were shuttled off to the far corner of the hotel right above the dumpsters and were bothered every night by trucks and others in the parking lot beneath us. In addition, there was a hum throughout the building that seemed to reverberate and made sleeping very difficult. I understand that there is some remodeling going on the second floor and that could have caused the problem. Room 330 is a bad location and I would never accept that room again. While I love the convenience of the hotel to our destination, I wonder if because we were using points and cash we were sent to the worse facility in the building. November 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great overnight stay. If your traveling to Palo Alto it is only a few miles away. The rooms have been tastefully updated and is a quiet location away from the freeway noise. Lots of plugs for IPhone etc. Will stay there again for sure! November 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Unresp[onsive manager Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a good value. The hotel had been recently renovated and the rooms and bathrooms were excellent. On our last day housekeeping did not make up our room. Although we contacted the night manager and on the following morning the day manager, no one with authority every contacted us to make this right. November 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Nice small property The property was located a little over a mile from Redwood City's Broadway street which has a number of very nice restaurants. I did not inquire about or use room service but the hotel is in the delivery area for DoorDash which delivers food from a variety of restaurants. The only issue for me was the hotel only had 3 floors and was close to the street so when loud cars or motorcycles went by they were obvious however, they were not frequent especially while I was asleep. The staff was some of the nicest I have ever encountered at any hotel including luxury hotels. November 3, 2015

It's called a Holiday Inn Express for a fancy extras, but it is a VERY clean property....a very great staff and the overall secure, calm environment makes it a place to stay again and again. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff/Business Center Needs attention The "business center" which is basically a desk with computers for access is basic, but the printer did not work for the 2 weeks I stayed. We were required to go to the front desk and ask that documents be printed. Seems like the printer issue should have been resolved over the course of 2 weeks. Otherwise, rooms were comfortable and kept clean. Front desk staff is top notch. October 25, 2015
