That show is trash, but my sister made me watch it the week prior and I was captivated. Breakfast was good. I was intrigued by the Japanese option. There was rice, but I couldn't find the miso soup. I opted for fake eggs and "meat." July 20, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Several Issues - But Room Clean Hello, They're were several issues with this Holiday Inn. When we arrived..the hotel desk level appeared nice, once to the room appeared an older hotel re-modeled for Holiday Inn in a hurry? Example: the pictures were the same,but some were upside down compared to the others, the carpeting (new# was stretched too much in some areas #room next to bathroom# & not enough in other areas # door next to adjoining room..bubble#. Old furniture re-purposed? But that really wasn't the issue..just thought you would like to know. **Issues were air in living room was not cool. maintence called & after testing he exchanged the unit. It was much better. We had asked for a roll away bed. We left & came back to hotel...and called the front desk. No answer after repeatedly calling #it was about 9 to 10 p.m.# Husband called the housekeeping..they said ok. Waited, waited. Called front desk again..finally got answer . She said "okay, I just put an order in for it". #11:00 p.m.) Maintenance brought up the 1950's bed. It was weird, but my son used it. The next morning- the Omlettes had what I guess is "salsa" in them. They were SO gross! I threw mine away. No one is eating them! Why put salsa in omlette? Checking out at front desk...the fellow didn't say how was your stay or anything. He finally gave me my reciept and I left. It was strange. I had just visited a wonderful Holiday Inn in Shoboygen, WI as was very pleased, so I booked another in Rolling Meadows. This one cannot match the customer service or cleanliness. Maybe they need to take a trip & be mentored by the one in Shoboygen? The room WAS clean. That was a plus. But, the floors in the main lobby had muddy foot prints through it. Again Weird. Needs better customer service at front desk and needs more oversight by management. July 19, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for business trip This hotel was perfect for my business trip. The location was great for what I was doing. Close to the airport and my meetings. While I'm sure there are nicer Holiday Inns, this one had everything I needed, the staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were clean! I would stay here again. July 17, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No roll a way! Large room, clean. Request for roll-a-way denied because it was a two double bed room. I had visited previously with two grandchildren and knew size of room. This time with three children wanted a separate bed for comfort. A king room would have been allowed a roll-a-way but then three children would have had to sleep in the king bed! Ridiculous. I have had roll-a-ways in much smaller Holiday inn express hotels. Parking was terrible-had to park at Holiday inn significant distance away Disappointed no indoor pool July 16, 2015
