The air conditioner in the room they assigned us to didn't work so they immediately checked the AC and then switched us to another room. They are amazing! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the nice new HIE we usually stay in. No customer service. We had 2 rooms for one evening. We dropped some of our stuff off in the first room and it was nice and cool in that room. We went to the second room and it was hot in there. We contacted the front desk and they sent someone who told us that we had the settings wrong. After an hour, the temperature didn't get any better. We called again and they came and replaced the unit while we were out of the hotel. We came back and it was still hot in the room AND our room door was left open. The lock was sticking out which stopped the door from shutting We were gone for several hours so we don't know how long it was open. We could have lost everything. I went to the desk and he didn't even seem to care that our door was open and that it was still hot in the room. They finally offered us another room. There were no apologies for either situation. We were very disappointed. Also, they have a lack of stairs for guests going past the second floor. There were large tour groups staying before they flew out the next morning. We had to wait in line for an elevator behind these huge groups of people. We really could have saved ourselves 20+ minutes if we could have used the stairs. My husband stays at HI many times a year and this was not one of his best experiences. July 29, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Close to airport, the only good thing I travel for a living and stay mostly at Holiday Inn hotels. This hotel is one of my least favorite. The only good thing about this hotel is the close vicinity to the airport. The rooms was clean but needed updating, a bit old, smallish bathrooms. While checking in the person at the front desk did not acknowledge me after about 3-5 minutes standing there with no one else on line. Breakfast was decent have had better at other Holiday Inns. It's a decent place to stay but i would rather stay at a different Holiday Inn that was further away. July 26, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by housekeeping staff As I stated earlier, I left behind my cervical pillow and when calling the next morning, I was told it would be checked on and I would be called back. No call back. So, I called back the next day and was told no one could find my pillow. So, either someone from housekeeping kept it or threw it away. It should have been turned in to the lost and found section. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and I would stay there again. Just have to remember not to leave anything behind. July 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay at Ohare Had a terrific nights rest after a tough week. Front desk upgraded me as a Platinum Member. A nice room...very clean and comfortable. Wanted to say in and relax and the hotel had a great selection of restaurants that delivered, including the restaurant next to the hotel. Great service from entire team. Love the breakfast at the Express Hotels and this hotel has a large dining area. Will be back for sure! July 20, 2015
