Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Sweltering night The air conditioning unit wasn't functioning properly in our room, leaving us with 78-80 degree temperatures all night. We went down to the front desk, but they could not move us. We normally have good luck with Holiday Inn Express, but this night was regretfully forgettable at best! May 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Where was management? Arrived after spending soggy day at Sea World to no power in the hotel and a weak back up generator. Half the hotel no lights, no a/c, no elevator...lugged bags up 3 flights of stairs with 2 elderly and 2 children. Come to find out 1 of our 3 room was already occupied. Took 2 hours to find a replacement room. 2 gentlemen at front desk very frazzled due to no computer system-felt sorry for them and wondered if they returned to their jobs the next day, as they obviously had no support from their management-no back up computer system, no housekeeping, no maintenance-they were completely on their own as guests were attempting to check in and they were literally running around the hotel trying to accommodate requests. Total confusion, but the blame rests with the absentee management-where were they? Once the power was eventually restored, enjoyed a nice pool experience, and the remainder of the stay was routine. Did have a major water leak over the a/c unit, but no problem. May 27, 2015
