The hotel was an a good location - close to the waterway but not right in the middle of everything. Easy access to Freeway. Convenient and clean. Staff was overly nice and very accommodating.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Spring, Texas because of the convenient location to our family. The staff members were friendly and courteous. The beds were comfortable. The room was spacious and very clean. The morning breakfast had an assortment of items: eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, cereals, oatmeal, pancakes, yogurts and fruits. The coffee was good and hot along with an assortment of teas from which to choose. This will be our choice on our next visit to The Woodlands/Spring area.

Disappointed that I received a standard room. The most important amenity that I want based upon my loyalty to IHG is a room upgrade. I guaranteed my room on a credit card and it was well after 6 p.m. when I checked in meaning I was definitely being charged for the room. When I arrived to check in, I inquired if I was getting a room upgrade. The front desk clerk stated that the last suite was just given out. I happen to know that the last suite wasn't given to a Spire Elite member because it was given to one of my employees who is a Platinum member.
Point is that if the hotel knew there was a Spire Elite member who was coming, why wouldn't a suite be held for that person. What's the point of reaching the top level of a rewards program if you are treated like all the others?

Decent hotel for the area. I have two comments;
(1) I could not find this hotel on the IHG website. Same problem for a Express I was looking to stay at in Braintree, MA. Seems to be more and more frequently.
(2) The shower had very low water pressure in this hotel.

We were in the city for a wedding. It was VERY helpful to be able to check in as soon as we arrived so we could unpack and change clothes. Also, the late check-out gave us time to relax in the morning and not be rushed to get out early.

This stay was necessitated because my son does not have sufficient room in his home, so I was only there to sleep and eat breakfast and was otherwise engaged at all times. The facilities were excellent and met all my needs.
