We spent just one night in this hotel before returning to Europe, but we loved it! It’s new, nicely decorated and very well laid out. We had the two queen bed suite, which was nice and spacious for the three of us. There was an extra table with chairs in the kitchenette. Very friendly staff who organize a managers reception on weekday afternoons. Breakfast had all the choices and was well kept. The business center was perfect for printing our airplane tickets. All in all a Holiday Inn Express as expected but with a nice extra touch! The Hertz Neverlost had some trouble localizing the hotel, but it’s right on the east Frontage road of the Tomball Tollway. Next time in Houston, we will be back!

Hotel staff were MOST accommodating! Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom well supplied with towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc. just as you would hope to find. Breakfast selection included a great variety from eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, hot or cold cereal, pastries, yogurt, variety of juices, coffee, or tea. The best treat was late afternoon/early evening fresh baked cookies were available to make you feel quite at home.

I've never stayed at any hotel (5 star or other) where I've had such an amazing experience with the entire staff. Every single member seems to love their job, genuinely care about the guests, and be happy. The front desk guys were exceptional! They would tell us bye and welcome back every time we went out and came back. And smiled at us. The dining room girls were very attending to all the guests, and spoke to all of us at some point while dining. Even the cleaning staff were friendly. The hotel was very clean (and I'm always looking for the dirt, loose hairs, etc). Hotels in general gross me out, This one, however, was VERY clean!! I would even say extremely clean! The only negative I found during our stay was that our room, 235, had a slight "wet dog" smell. I don't know if someone had smuggled a dog in there ever or if it was just the Houston humidity that has settled in the carpet. In any case, it wasn't bad enough to complain about. Maybe because there were so many other positives here.
