Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by staff I would say that it was the staff, rather than the room, the breakfast, the hotel convenience, which made the stay good. I got to know the names of the front desk people, the breakfast people and found them to be kind and easy people. There was no arrogance, not coldness. They were truly professional in their attitudes. Those are the kinds of qualities that make a client want to return to a particular hotel. They had a kind of Texas warmth that was as real as could be. I will return to Uvalde for personal, family reasons, and I will stay at the Express hotel because of the staff. April 29, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by billing incorrect, Checked in with a small group,negotiated a fair rate. Found out 3 days later we were overcharged from the rest of the group. Our fault for not checking the rate during check in and during the checkout. Clerks fault for losing focus on what she was doing. April 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Key issues I've stayed at this hotel several times over the years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is always consistent. It was somewhat annoying though having to return down to the lobby 3 times, because the swipe card failed to open our assigned room. In the end the young lady at the front desk resolved the issue by assigning us another room. The swipe card there worked fine the first time. My one complaint is that the man in the next room SNORED loudly all night long. It could be heard through the walls. It kept my wife from sleeping comfortably. Unfortunately this was beyond the hotel's control. April 16, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service . From the start of our stay , we knew we were going to enjoy our stay . Whether a long or a short stay , we shall be staying here again .We were always greeted with respect when leaving our room for any length of time during the day . When , we came back to our room , we again were shown the same respect . Everyone was so courteous . Room was very clean when we arrived . If , I asked for something from the ladies that cleaned the room , they quickly complied with my requests .There was nothing but silence during our whole stay . When , I asked the front desk clerk about a Rewards Card , he quickly signed us up for one . Thanks to all employees for the great hospitality shown to us . April 6, 2015
