Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by London visit We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Alister at the from desk was "my hero". He was very friendly and polite and happily answered my (many) questions and offered great advice. The rest of the staff were exceptional too. It was one of the quietest rooms we've ever experienced, which is very important to us. The location was very close to the train station which made getting around very easy. The breakfast offerings were great and I was a big fan of the coffee machine. Overall, a very nice lodging! May 21, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel and friendly staff The staff on reception right the way though to check out were excellent; friendly, smiling and always accommodating. I would definitely use this hotel again. Ideal for local trains into the centre and surrounded by pubs, bars and restaurants and literally just yards away from The Thames. May 17, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by shame for breakfast Very disappointed with the breakfast we changed last minute from a normal holiday to a express will not use an express inn again also i am a member of ihg and the express in could not get my free newspaper overall nice room and staff but would not stay in a holiday inn or recommend to our friends again sorry May 14, 2015

This was a very nice hotel just outside the city center. it's easy to get into town with the train and you'll save a lot of money but still get a good, clean and calm hotel. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was really good, except there was no bacon?? if there would've been bacon and boiled eggs, it would've been perfect. oh and the shampoo was a bit weird, and the double sized bed was a tad too small, but these are things I could live with. Quite plausible that I will stay here again should I return to London. May 14, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good value, bad location I recently stayed here for 12 nights. We were happy with the check-in and room and breakfast was fine. Hazel is a delight. After day 9 I had to ask for clean linen as it still hadn't been changed. On day 10 they changed the linen again - also the unused bed and the cleaning person threw all my clothes into a heap onto the newly made bed - which meant I had to iron them again for my business meetings! (Not enough hanging space so I had them neatly draped on the bed). The experience was satisfactory but it's a real bother in terms of travel. If Waterloo station is offline for whatever reason, you're stuck. Also almost missed a plane due to the location and travel-time. May 11, 2015
